I have two favorite moments that I can think of right off hand.
I started playing this game shortly before BC came out, but I never played very much. I got a Night Elf Rogue up to level 28 and a Human Mage up to level 24. I quit for a while and just recently started playing again, probably in about June.
When I got back, no one played on the server I used to play on, so I made a new toon on a new server and decided I WOULD get him to 70. It was a Night Elf Hunter and I got it to 70 in 8d 12h played for my first character over level 30. I was pretty happy. :D
The next one I can think of is when I was on my Blood Elf Paladin named Anowyn, which is also the name of my Nelf Rogue. I was with my girlfriend and we were in ghostlands when we discovered the area named: An'owyn. I thought that was pretty crazy, as I've been using the name Anowyn for a couple of years on games, haha.

My favorite wow moment had to be the moment mend pet switched from being a channeled ability to a instant cast dot. I had no idea what was going on and kept pushing the icon waiting for the channel to appear. It took me 10 seconds of just staring at the screen to realize what had happened.

Been a horde player from the beginning. No other faction for me! The greatest moment for me would have to be my first Illidan kill. I hit 60 on my lock but didnt raid much prior to BC. Then in BC my friends and I lvled to 70 as fast as we could and began running the heroics. But that began to get really boring so we began raiding. My first time in Kara was wonderful, the atmosphere, the music and the challenges... at that point. Then we went on to higher lvl content and finally made it to BT. Man that place is fun. All I heard in my head was the quote " you are not prepared". The day we finally downed Illidan was great. The wipes and long raids all paid off. I would have never thought of myself as a raider if you asked me when I first started but now I cant get enough of it. That kill gave me huge sense of completion as well as a sense of pride in my toon. We are pushing on in SW and cant wait till WotLK is out (obviously Im trying to get a beta key).

I have been playing WoW for a few years now, and I would have to say my favorite moment was when I won my first game of Alterac Valley. This was back in the day, when games would last hours, if not an entire weekend. I was playing my Alliance warrior, and the Alliance never won AV on our server. Never. I remember the map was red--the Horde had us up at Stormpike Graveyard.
I had been in the game a while now, and I was with a group of win-oriented Alliance members. We were taking towers, just for the fun of it. We killed the lieutenants and the captains. And we burned the towers. I don't know what set it off, but the Horde recalled. They came back to Frostwolf because they were scared of our tower taking!
This allowed the Alliance to get out of the bottleneck at Stormpike (not that they couldn't have anyway, but you know how it is) and head south. I had never seen so many dots on the minimap south of Iceblood!
To finish this up, we pushed and pushed and pushed, and eventually killed Drek'thar. I took a screenshot, because I knew my friends wouldn't believe me. Hehe, I even have it to this day.

My favorite moment was back in the old wow (pre TBC). I was only 55 level rogue and it was that moonglade event. This one raid group was just prepearing to take down that big ? wolf and i happened to be chatting with the raid leader. They were having one spot free and he invited me to join them. Oh boy was i exited, first time taking down boss and i werent even 60 yet.
Well, my dps sucked as exepted but we managed to down the beast and i got the quest done (It didin't have minium level 60 since it was an event quest)
For some reason this happening has been by most my favorite moment in World of Warcraft. But then again there was this 1 - 0 victory in Alterac Valley.. ;-)
