This is actually a fresh memory, but pretty strong…
I was PvPing with my cat, a lynx called Groo, so I put him on Aggressive. We were PvPing after all. Then some friends decided to do Heroic Old Hillsbrad – we were heading out to the caverns of time and they needed my help to summon.
Out of the battleground I go, over to World's End tavern, where Zephyr zips me over to Tanaris. I'm there, on the road leading to the caverns, waiting for another team mate to show up and summon the rest of the party with me. I turn around, and right there next to the road, stand this HUGE dragon, all red and boss-like, looking to the distance, probably thinking deep bronze-dragon thoughts. Suddenly I hear that cat growl that Groo does when he attacks, and he charges the dragon!
It was the funniest thing in the world – this huge boss, with who knows how many millions of hit points, totally oblivious to the growling salivating little death running right at it. Of course, I called him back and took him off aggressive – but for five straight minutes I couldn't stop laughing – how my cat, the bravest pet in all of Azeroth, decided to try and solo Anachronos…

My favourite WoW moment was when I reached 70 for the first time!
I got to lvl 70 in TBC, I didn't even have a char at 50+ when TBC was released so yeah... BEST MOMENT!

What I loved about World of warcraft, was when we were living and sleeping in silithus, farming 20,000 carapaces. Ok, well, I dindnt love it, but it was a great time when we got to completion.
The we followed the quest line as a guild, which was one of the most fun questlines in the game!
Apart from that,
The Balance of Light and Shadow
, was probably the best time I had, knowing I was the first in my server to actually complete it. Amazing times.

Then we rezed and came back the same guy tried to gank us we got away he had very low health all of a sudden the patroll with the dogs came and killed him and he broke his headset and punched a hole in his wall.. I loled.

My most memorable moment was in a heroic Sethekk Halls tanking as a frost mage.
We had lost our tank and one DPS and the only ones left was a warlock, healer and myself. Both the tank and DPS were lost after only one mob down. Being a four mob pull, everyone thought it was a wipe and said to just finish it quick but another mob was taken down before we lost the rogue.
There's nothing quite as exhilarating as trying to kill two tough elites with just a squishie and a healer but it got done.
This experience reaffirmed why I specced frost in the first place and have never had any qualms to change at all.

My favorite WoW moment has to be the first time entering Karazhan. I never got to raid pre-BC and I had been levelling from 40-70 alongside the same four or five guys so for us to put some more people together and finally get there it was like, "Whoa, we've arrived."
Close runner up was the first ZA clear, because it was definitely the best team our guild has ever had and it went flawlessly.

This was awhile ago, soon after the release of vanilla WoW on the azjol-nerub server.
I was at the crossroads as a level 35ish orc warrior, with the giant beserker warrior axe.
I saw that about 200 alliance all random levels were coming to the alliance. I saw so many skull-leveled toons. I saw a small horde resistance coming up, not very many and were mainly about my level. I saw us all just stand there in a group, waiting for the alliance to come. I'll never forget that day, I foguht valiantly, and thought of myself as a proud horde hero.
But then reinforcements came. There weren't very many 60 hordies yet, I think at most 3-4. I saw 4 60 horde toons come in and i was like "reinforcements have arrived!" They couldn't quell the alliance force completely, but they sure as hell killed a lot. I felt like an alamo vet protecting the xroads from a huge army while reinforcements came. I'll never forget that day.
From time to time I still see those toons that were 60's. We did eventually lose the xroads for quite some time, until blizzard stepped in to let lowbies like me quest. but i just remember fighting valiantly and seeing a 60 female orc warlock on top of the hill right next to that tower, fighting hordes of alliance with her demonic magic.
