I'd have to say my most memorable WoW moment happened in Winterspring,
I'd been questing to hit level 58 and progress to Outland, when I stumbled upon on of the many rare mobs patrolling around the zone. I was 57 at the time, a subtlety specced rogue, and in a moment of idiocy I pulled a 59 Elite Dragonkin. I blew evasion, pots, and bandages until I had him at around %25, when two patrolling polar bears aggroed behind me.
I don't know how, but I was able to bring down all three mobs, two of which were a single level higher than me, and the other elite and 2 levels up. I took a screenshot, and posted it to the guild website. I was so proud.

My first character is my current main, a human paladin, he's about 3-4 years old now.
When I started playing WoW, I was a complete newb, I didn't know what talent trainers were, I didn't know you could kill 2 mobs, and etc.
I also didn't know that you could get out of Northshire by walking out, I assumed that with several other RPG's you had to go through a instructor to get out, it seemed to be impenetrable and surrounded by walls.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered a pathway out of Northshire, just as I was about to give up on the game!
To that, I'm pleased with WoW!

One moment is not enough, my favorite moments...
First favorite moment would be almost 3 years ago now, when I was playing on my friends account for the very first time, I started an undead character and I was walking to Brill and I was really enjoying and awed by the environment I was seeing.
2nd would be when I played on a RPPvP server, played on all the server types and this would have to be my favorite, the amount of player based stories going and a lot of really detailed and story base PvP. However my favorite moment would be when we marched hundreds of dwarves in my guild the Iron Forge Regiment and in military columns through the gates of iron forge through the commons into the Military ward, it was really cool to see so many dwarves in military formations.
3rd moment would be when I first walked into Naxx when it came out, seriously the best raid dungeon I have every experienced.
and finally when my guild walked into BT for the first time and one shot Naj'entus

My greatest memory may not be an epic 25 man raid, or even walking through the Dark Portal for the first time. Alas my greatest memory comes from when i was a mere level 45 warlock. Being this was my first toon I ever created I was still learning quite alot. I was on the quest: Quergo's Gold. I finally made my way out to the southern reaches of Tanaris after collecting all the peices of the treasure map. I truly felt like I was on a real quest (nerdy i know). After following the map to the location of the "treasure" I found myself ambushed by 6 level 45 pirates. With quick thinking and a handy voidwalker that can take quite a beating, I was able take out each and every one of the blasted scallywags... umm ... I mean pirates. Sacraficing a voidwalker for a valuable bubble of damage absorption and then with the ability to almost instantly summon a new voidwalker to get the pirates attention again, I was able to wash rinse and repeat, amazing my level 45 warrior friend who was unable to do the quest by himself.
I felt TRULY epic at this moment, despite my mere green status. It was a foreshadowing for my epic moments to come.

My favorite moment in Wow.
I started playing the game about a year ago I think (it was my first MMO), because a friend was always talking about it. He was always helping me level by running my druid through instances using his 70 druid and I loved seeing his druid in action. But in my mid-40's, he decided to run me through black rock depths, and instead of using his druid he brought his 70 pally because I kept dying in previous runs and druids have the cool down on resurrecting. Also because I loved (and still do) seeing Pallys in action.
The whole run went smooth with no issues, then we got to that one section where there are 4 or 5 bosses where you better kill the first before the second one gets released and after some time the third and so on. The place where after killing all the bosses the loot is inside a chest that has to be opened kind of like in chess in Kara. Anyway, my friend was protection spec, so he did not have a lot of DPS. But he started the fight and started fighting the first boss and as expected his DPS wasn't good enough (he was still in pretty much all blues) and after some time the second boss started to attack him, and then the 3rd and 4th and 5th (however many there are, it was all of em :P). By the time the final boss got released and started attacking, the first one was still alive and we were both worried it'd be a wipe.
That's when both myself and my friend had a grin on our faces for the rest of the fight that lasted almost 10 minutes (or at least it felt like it). It was so cool to see the fight because he ran out of mana several times and I had to heal him with everything I had, user innervate, use mana potions and heal him some more and him doing the same and used mana potions/bandages to keep up while fighting 4 or 5 bosses at the same time. It was insane to see him fighting for that long and eventually killing all the bosses. I decided then my next character would be a pally (though my pally is still only lvl 44 :D ) that was still the most memorable moment i've had in WOW. Seeing a 10 min fight where he was doing everything he could so that we wouldn't wipe and have to go through that long-ass run back.
(Yes, I've been told I say things in novels that could be summarized in a couple sentences :P ) and i hope this didnt post twice, it logged me while typing all this, lol.

My favorite moment in wow...
I have a lvl 60 mage in pvp i use to own Altreca valley i was the bg god of my guild it was back before bc where everone had their advantages and warlocks weren't as op and thier was no resilance it was just a dps battle and i could just destory all the class. It was thirlling! you could do anything you could of tutrled forever and just keep on gaining honor points. But evertime i eneterd one i always have this one allaince mage as comapteion evertime we say each other we battled even if we just saw the other ride by us we would brake off d or o and go hunt each other down to see who was the victory. it was thrilling to meet him in av match.... but the ironic thing is thou that freind turned out to be my most closet freind that played wow an i truely had no clue that he played wow. and our fights ussaly last 5-10 minutes minimuie if we didn't call for help
But those days are over now since blizzard deicded to put everthing "equal"... my ass oh well maybe another time blizzard will see the error of thier ways.

My favourite moment is when my old guild first downed Void Reaver.
It was like the third or forth night of trying to kill him, I was one of the few to have been there every try.
We had been wiping on less than 10% all night just to get killed by the enrage. We had one last try before the respawn would reach the room. It didn't feel like we were going to kill him this night either and I was afraid I would miss the kill since I couldn't join the next raid. All was going well but we still didn't manage to kill him before the enrage started. He killed the tank and then went maniac and started to kill of the raid.
I got divine intervention on my self but since it was the last try for the evening I cancelled it. You never know right?
So it's me and the main tank left, he pops shield block and I heal like crazy. But he gets one shotted right after the shield block ends.
Void Reaver is now on 1%, I fire off one Holy Shock. And I killed him!
I couldn't believe it, neither did the rest of the guild but when we saw him collapse everyone went wild on vent screaming and cheering and I got the guilds first T5 shoulders.
I don't believe I can every match that again, the chock and happiness was overwhelming. :D
