My favorite moment must be when I just did hc Ramps after dinging 70 on my hunter, got a great guild, and we had a little low healing for the last boss.
That means that the tank died at about 40% and then our rogue evasion tanked for a couple of percents and then being healed by our shammy, but eventually the damage was too much, Nazan then went to our mage and two-shoted him, shammy pops earth elemental wich dies kinda fast, Nazan on 4%, comes for me, I fd and pop rapid fire, 3%, 2, 1 and boom! He's dead, the healer had died just seconds before.
Felt nice to be the only survivor with the worst gear ^^.
Getting valano's bow and a couple of blue legs for the hunter on my main just a day before dinging 70 was also kinda nice.

There I was, me and my trusty crab finally crawling out of the depts of black rock. Bruised and battered Marshal Windsor tells me he'll meet me at Stormwind and lo and behold as I report in at the Alliance capital there he is charging in on his stallion.
Now, my poor dwarven funds could not in themselves cover the cost of a good sturdy ram and I relied on the wild aspects to give me marathon like running. So, when he arrived and the entire Stormwind guard bowed before the p.o.w. indeed I was was impressed.
Then a sick feeling, like too much elemental flux at the bottom of my beer, hits me. I see the signs of dragonkin as he walks valiantly towards the castle keep proper. Then that harlot, that vile vixen, Lady Katrana Prestor, betrayer she is. There in the throne room, they ushered the Prince out moments before she blasts the good Marshall unto death.
Outraged I charged forward and then, may my eyes turn to coal if I am lying, she and the guards transformed! Onyxia her self stood before us! I do not know how she escaped as I woke later in the care of the royal priests.
It was that day I swore I would hang her head on the walls of Stormwind. My fellow dwarves may yell with "For the Bronzebeard!" with honor but I still holler with all my breath, "For Windsor!"
Heft a mug my friends, not all heroes come home.

This seems like a fun thing to do. Well, the thing that I remember the best while playing WoW must have been when I went to Ironforge airfield, and from there I went down towards the dwarf settlement en the wetlands side of ironforge mountain. When I got there, there was a dwarven signpost with 3 signs. They read: This way, That way and The other way. I think that was one of the more funny things I have seen or been through.

There are so many good memories I have had from this game, but the top moment for me would have to be way back in 2004. My first character was a human Mage, and one night around 930 PM I hooked up with a group heading to the Deadmines. For all of us, it was our first real group experience in our first instance. We battled that place until nearly 1:30 in the morning (yes, I still remember), fighting pirates, mechanical machines and finally, Van Cleef himself in that brilliant-looking underwater pirate ship.
We wiped 4 times on Van Cleef, I remember myself jumping off the side of the boat and surviving because humanoid mobs apparently couldn't swim yet :)
Eventually, we brought him down and walked out of the instance with our phat lewts. Since then I've switched over to the Horde side, leveled 3 toons to 70, fought Prince, Gruul, Vashj and much of the more "epic" encounters in the game but my best experience is
still
as a level 20 or so Mage in the Deadmines.

My favorite moment in World of Warcraft must have to be the first time I entered a raid-instance. I've been with this game on and off more or less since the release in Europe (Tried the beta on American servers, but being over the pond you kind of feel what the definition of latency is).
I very vividly remember seeing those two, seemingly huge Molten Giants standing there looking so impossible and huge to get down, even with a massive raid of 40 (blue-geared, oh the memories) players.
After what must have been 15-20 minutes of "pep-talk" on Ventrilo we finally engaged the two level 62 Molten Giants, not knowing what to do (This being way before so called tactics were made available to every man and his cat) we wiped horribly and brutal.
I think we got one of the Molten Giants down to 20%, we were so proud of that, people being so cheerful and twittering on Ventrilo, you don't really hear nor see that emotion and feeling around any more.
So, that's probably my best and most memorable moment in the world of Warcraft. If there is any moral in this question, and the answer, I think it would be; Just relax and have fun, sit back and enjoy the game for what it is, a game.

Out of all the exciting moments i've had in WoW, the most memorable (and complete BS) moment I had, was in Zul'Gurub. For the longest time, my cousin and I shared one account for most pre-BC content. One of the off-raiding weeks, a ZG pug was forming in lookingforgroup. Being on a low pop-RP server, this was almost unheard of, so we decided to try it out for fun. The pug was a success, except for one flaw, the master looter (we all know where this one is going).
When we downed Arlokk, we were excited because that's really tough for a guild at the time let alone a pug. Playing on a priest, the only item that was sought after was that Will of Arlokk staff that happened to look awesome, which DID drop. Being in a group of all paladin healers, we thought, the staff was sure to go to us (especially since the current item equipped was the Kindling Staff from BRD). But of course, everything backfired, and a boomkin (the master looter) ended up getting the item.
For some odd reason, the boomkin kept dieing on all the pulls we had afterwords. To this day, i still don't know why she kept dieing... :D

I think my favorite wow memory was when i was in a BG and one of the horde from my server jumped into my vent and said " Hey Druid I told them all to kill you good luck." It was sad I only healed 450k and had over 50 deaths. Still made me laugh that I was feared to the point of being singled out.
