My favorite moment in WOW was when we were fighting High Warlord Naj'entus in black temple for the first time and we had him down to 3%. Somebody got impaled and somebody yanked out the bone then broke the shield and wiped half the raid because of low hp.
It was the funniest thing ever since the raid leader was talking about how we were going to one shot the first boss, and he lost it after that. All we could do was laugh about it for about 3 days.

Whilst leveling my original character, a Tauren Warrior in Summer '05, i was never really privy to how the seemingly 'exclusive' world of raiding and it really worked, and as such as i approached the high 50's and started to be involved in LBRS/UBRS, i was obliged to make my way into Blackrock Mountain.
Although i felt a certain sense of overwhelming mass when first seeing Orgrimmar, The Thandol Span and The Great Lift, walking into a hollow mountain, consumed by fire and lava, with such a great glow to it, utterly took my breath away. Running down the chains for the first time towards BRD, taking the hop onto the balcony towards BRS, watching the Dragons swarm around the cavernous roof, i simply will never forget that place.
And as it continued and i eventually became a bonafide raider, the endless corpse runs while learning MC and later on BWL even more firmly cemented the awesomeness of that place in my memory.
I can't wait to see if Blizzard can come up with anything nearly as epic as Blackrock Mountain for WotLK, fingers crossed!

My favorite moment in World of Warcraft, has to be the first time I ever reached lvl 70. I had played on that character for 8 months and I was a really slow lvl'er, so when I finally got to 70 I was so happy and excited forall the new stuff I could do :)

My personal favorite moment so far, has been when I tanked Void Reaver in blues. Fun times. Too bad that guild died out. :(

My most amazing wow moment actually goes all the way back to open beta. I had a dwarf paladin messing around with some friends not really questing alot but exploring around. we got to the slope that leads up to the gates of Ironforge. We made our way up and made it to the gates. We were all amazed none really spoke on vt. we first stod there for a sec and as we entered the gates one all of a sudden with a voice echoing said "behold the great Ironforge".
This kind me gave goose bumps all over and made me think of lotr where the enter the big halls the dwarfs had build. :D til this day still one of the moments I remember even though it is so many years ago.

Best moment? Downing Illidan. More than I ever achieved pre-TBC.
Shame I quit the character though.
And before anyone says anything, I don't have a beta invite and I'm pretty sure now this WWI card is actually gonna generate a SC2/D3 invite, or nothing at all. Meh.

well im a lvl 70 night elf balance druid and i played for 1 year happy about having the only name "Zenanor" but then i randomly met another night elf druid who was resto specced also lvl 70.
We'd NEVER met eachother before(i swear) and we both thought the same about the name thing (no name like me) and we both was like OMG/roflmao. Well the druid i met and i shoved up be good friends.
The other Druids name was: " Zelanor"

My favourite moment in WoW was when I managed to go to the Hyjal area (the non-instanced one) with my druid before the entrance was totally fixed and was unable to be exploited. The World Tree and Archimonde's Skeleton were the best things in there, as well as the Well of Eternity.

I'd have to say my favorite moment was back when I did Molten Core the first time, we killed Lucifron and I got Earthfury boots for my Shaman, that was a month before Burning Crusade released and I had to Sell the boots.

My favorite moment in WoW would have to be a special roleplaying event that my guild, and raiding alliance put together for me and one of my best friends, pre-BC. This may seem a little dorky to most, but I absolutely loved it.
I had known this girl in game for a long time, she is one of my real life best friends, and we decided to marry our main characters. Both were Night Elves, so we held a 40 man raid in the temple of the Moon in Darnassus. We had a Tux and Wedding dress, and people were all dressed up with fireworks and stuff. It was really neat. A Priest friend of mine conducted the ceremony, and one of my good in-game friends filled the role of Best Man.
She doesnt play anymore, but we still talk on a daily basis. So the memory is really special to me. It's not easy to put something like that together, ya know. :)
(Oh, and our first Ragnaros kill wasnt that bad either! :D)
