My favorite moment, never really thought of it.
Well I would say it would be this.. I was new to WoW and to my new acc I shared with a friend of mine, creating a new character... and I fell in love with the Tauren. So that's what I made, a tauren druid. We were playing and discovering new places, finally reached lvl 10 and went to Moonglade. That was the spot... It was beutiful! All cozy and nice harmony everywhere ^^ Went talking to my brothah bear for the bear form quest and discovered the problem... I couldn't find a way out (There was no such thing as HS or FP going on in my mind lol)... So I headed to a tunnle I found to the south, and a lvl ? Timbermaw started running against me! One shotted me and I was like "I'm getting out of this place right now!" and ressed as far in to the tunnle as possible... Too many times I'll tell ya that. It was a lightning storm outside my house and the power went off. Next time I started up my comp. and WoW I was like "To hell that I'm going to play on this char again" So I deleted him, sad though, but I finally got on my feet as a new char.
Though it was a bit sad but it really was my favorite moment ;)

Well my favourite moments in wow were kinda many but i can recognize 2 of them as my "favourite" favourite. At first, when i got my lock's mount(was over excited back then and i was running for like...1 hour here and there)and then, when i got to the Outlands after questing for 57 levels(the 50-58 levels looked to me as if they took a month or so)

Ok, I'd have to say my all time favorite WoW moment of all time was when I had just guild hopped out of a guild "on good terms" to join a guild made by some of my RL friends. Earlier in the week I had ran Kara with my old guild and was starting a run to finish it up with my new guild. Well apparently my old guild had decided that they were going to clear the rest of the dungeon at exactly the same time although none of us knew that. In your normal front door / back door confusion both guilds sent people in both doors and once inside everyone was looking at each other like "Who are you?"
Long story short it turned into an epic lock-in situation to see who had rights to the dungeon, around 16 hours passed where both guilds had one or two people perched inside the door to say "Still here" when someone came to check if they could get their whole group in. Many LOLs were had and eventually we rolled for it. We lost the roll and didn't get phat lewts that week but it was one of the most fun times I had in WoW.

I would have to say that my fondest memory isn't a triumph of mine, or a really cool instance run, but actually a pretty big blunder when I first started playing. My first character was a tauren Shaman, and I had just reached the lvl where I was working to get my fire totem. All excited I went out into the barens to find that orc that the quest directed me to. Well, I had no idea about wowhead or any of the other WoW related website at the time, so I went wandering into the Barens looking for Kranal Fiss. And after a while, I thought I had gone far enough that he might be close by; and; Hey look! there's a hut off the road, that MUST be him! So all excited I went over to the hut to talk to Mr. Fiss and get my fire totem, charged right in without knocking....right into a group of very higher lvl centaurs. Upon resurrecting, I decided I should ask a friend where to go rather than knocking on the door of every centaur house in the barrens.

My second character was the first got past level 19. She was a human paladin named Cathain (after Grant-Lee Phillips "Ballad of Cathain" song). When I was around level 40, I remember finding this ominous place called "Blackrock Mountain" at the southernmost part of the Searing Gorge
I can't remember the music it of the place. All I can muster from my memory is the this feeling of terrifying silence, which made me take each step with greater apprehension than my last one. When I came out of the first corridor into the main chamber, I was paralyzed by its massive, intricate and overwhelming emanation of anger and darkness. I saw giant chains of dwarven make holding a single pillar of stone leading into the lava and that entrance to that place. I was walking through the chain and then I saw the drake flying overhead.
I was sure that within moments, I'd be dead. That my only chance of survival was to turn around and leave at that very moment.
And I went in.
