Arguably my favorite moment was about 6 months or so after I hit 70. At the time I was the gm of a guild that was hoping to start raiding soon. I'd spent huge amounts of time finding good players and good people, but, due to certain unfortunate circumstances, the guild wasn't going to make it. Fortunately, I had a friend in another guild that was raiding Kara at the time, but had recently lost a few members. They'd progress moderately well, but were still struggling with many fights and had several bosses that weren't down yet. So, myself and about four or so core people (as it turned out, our best people) signed on with them and started raiding with them. It was the proudest moment of my WoW career as with the help of my people the guild dropped boss after boss. The guild went from having 3 unkilled bosses to full clear in one week. So, even though my guild hadn't made it where I wanted it to, I knew my work had paid off anyway. That's why it's my fondest moment.

My favorite moment is when i fell asleep on Kael Thas in The Eye.
So we were in The Eye (it was long ago) and we were struggling for second week to kill KT. I am playing a rogue. It was our last attempt for the night and for this week. On the other day it was the reset. So everybody was pretty tired of the whole thing, but the raid leaders were pushing us. And imagine this - We started the fight and i was so sleepy, the time for the female advisor came. For those not familiar with the fight, the female advisor is tanked by a lock. And nobody except that lock, must be in her range. Else it's a massive dmg and you wipe the raid. So the lock is running in and i was used to stand in the line of her range, one step further and i was in her range. So the lock is tanking her and the next thing i remember is hearing my name on vent. When I opened my eyes, realized what i have done. Fell asleep for 10 secs, while pushing my "W" key. This way I ran past the tank to the wall behind the mob, the healers tried to heal me, but i was dead. I had to explain this whole story to everybody in the guild, since then my guild note was "Sleep Walker". ;)

My favorite moment was when my wife and I reached a lvl high enough to enter the outlands. It was exciting and yet scary stepping thru the portal to see all the battling going on right in front of our faces. While energised, we ran off to flight path and moved on to killing the bad guys. Once going up a hill to loot the body, we happen to look up, and see what was going on in the sky. Very breath taking Sky scean. We had to take a screen shot. Totally exciting!

The greatest moment in Wow was, when I upgraded my account from free-trial. I was so happy, when I met my friend after that.
The second: after days of hard leveling, I finally reached level 30 with my rogue and bought a mount. I never forget that day ;)
Third: I just started wow, and I didn't know anything about the game. So, I went to STV. In STV I met an orc (I was human). I said hello for the orc, but he attacked me and oneshotted me. Later I realized, how to play this game, and I laughed for that moment.

My favorite World of Warcraft moment must've been the time when a Horde player initiated a large-scale war event between the Horde and Alliance (I, myself played Alliance though) on the Argent Dawn EU server (RP in case you wonder). Taking place in the Shimmering Flats of Thousand Needles, the feel before the event began was just...Epic. Really, it was. It was like the Ahn'Qiraj Gate Event, just better. There were so many Alliance players gathered at the border to Tanaris, it really gave me a feel of being in an 'army', unlike the BGs like Arathi and Warsong. Even just seeing the Horde later on the event made the server crashes and lag worth it. Both sides were massive, and without the lag/server crashes, it would've been one hell of a battle!
I just hope that Lake Wintergrasp will bring back some of that feel to world-pvp, instead of ruining pvp-feel like the BGs and Arenas have done.

My favorite moment in game...
I would have to say it was the day ( about 2.5 years ago) when I realized that I was meant to be a Holy paladin.
I was level 49 in Sunken temple with my guild at the time. I was full ret spec and we were trying to down the last dragon boss. We kept repeatedly wiping until I decided to try something wild...I stopped trying to do damage and began healing the main tank. It was like a light switched on for me. We dropped the dragon pretty easily and I was praised for my healing. I was also rewarded with an awesome shield, The Crest of Supremacy which lasted me until I was level 60. I respecced holy that day, and have never looked back since.

I would have to say the greatest moment in my WoW life would have been during an UBRS run. I was palying a level 60 undead priest named Ratwolf (don't ask...I just thought the name was funny and sounded cool).
Our guild was doing the run for the hundredth time when things started to go bad and our Hunter was killed before we completely killed General Drakkisath's 2 guards and he came back into the room. Our group mananged to kill the guards and were laying waste to him when they began to get too far apart and I was having problems healing them because they were out of range. Our last DPS guy went down with him at less than 1% health and I was the only person left alive to face him. Yes me a clothy....facing Drak....alone.... I did what any sane squishy person would have done and threw a couple of DoT's on him then bubbled myself and ran like a little school girl! Just as my bubble ran out he went down and I was the lone survivor!
That was my greatest day as the squishy healer and never let me guild mates live it down that I had to not only try to keep them alive but take down the boss at the same time :)
P.S. I then proceeded to ninja everything without rez'ing anyone then /gquit!
P.S.S. Just kidding, I resurrected everyone then we all lived, as much as an undead can, happily ever after
