As I understood it's:
10:00 a.m. in America/Los_Angeles (which is Pacific Standard Time) converts into 07:00 p.m. (aka 19:00) Europe/Stockholm (which is GMT+1, aka server times), right?
Correct me if I'm wrong please :P

I sent my mail at 8 minutes past the hour.
Just had a subject title stating it was for *"Name that Screenshot!" contest entry.*, and then listed the 5 URLs in the same order as the screenshots. No extra text, not even to state which articles the URLs are.
And, well, it got me first place! Though, it was certainly fantastic luck for me that the faster people failed to read the contest rules properly and submitted their screenies in completely the wrong fashion. ^^

I was a little more elaborate on it; I mentioned the shot number, the object, and the URL (" Screenshot 1 - Dirk Thunderwood:
http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=16091
" and so forth for the five screenshots). I was a bit nervous about adding more than they wanted, but I figured it was better to err on the side of caution than to forget something important that I might have overlooked while reading the rules. I asked in the response email (giving my street address) if my formatting was okay, and was told it was fine :) So, just the URLs seems to be fine, but a little extra describing it doesn't seem to hurt either.
And yeah, like Grados said, we were all extremely lucky when it came to people being confused about the rules. I was a bit concerned myself, but I was lucky enough to understand them as they were intended, so it worked out. I imagine tomorrow and future days are going to be much faster because now people have seen the type of screenshots being used and know what to look for, and what sort of pitfalls to avoid (Hellfire Spineleaf object, not item for example). Will be interesting to see how fast the winners come in in the following days, I look forward to it :)

I would have made a solid attempt myself if it wasn't for that blasted Draenei not being the actual thing in the SS that we were supposed to find, but the item set. O_o
Also, was pretty unsure about the book. But the other ones weren't too hard.
Luckily there will be more tries later, and now people know a little about how the competition properly works as well. ^^

Could anyone relate how the contest page looked? I didn't notice this contest today until after the first entry was done and now the screenshot post is just a winner's list and answer key. Are they just photobucket links? How are they showing us the screenshots to look for prior to editing the post with the actual screenshot locations?

I don't know my wowhead registered email address, can I get a way to restore it without making a totally new profile?

They will edit the first post with direct links to the 5 screenshots (one link per screenshot).
They're hosted on wowhead, so it's not laggy as photobucket :)

How did you guys going about searching them? Im kinda confused...some of those pictures dont show much and when I try to search them its very clumsy.
That's the thing. You are supposed to try to find the page on Wowhead to what the pictures show you, that's the challenge in the contest. Then you just put the URL's to the pages in a mail and mail it to the e-mail that you're supposed to.
