3. It has been leaked to the public that the next two new races might be Pandaren for Alliance and a new race called the 'Wolfen' for the Horde. There are at least two threads on this forum that shows it.
Leaked to the public? Come on - it's based on wish-thinking and theories. There has never been anything official even suggesting that.
But, go ahead and prove me wrong - I'd really love to see it.

Right, so you mean to say that...
I came across this reference to a post made by blizzard why back in 2003 (pre-vanilla wow)of there expected zones
...is a relieable
official
source? Anyone can state something like that, with a bit of creativity.

The post was from 2008, where the Outlands stuff was - obviously - known. By "stating" that it was from 2003, doesn't mean it was written there. I highly doubt Blizzard themselves even knew that information at that time,
especially
that exact.

But looking at it, it does seem to be pretty well thought out. How many people really are able to think of that many islands for the Maelstrom expansion? The person that made it up either really knows his lore and has a lot of time to waste, or it really came from Blizzard. Either way, it is a good layout for what they should be, even if they aren't. If it was written by some person with way too much free time, they put a lot of thought into it, and may be on the money...at least very close. Besides, the two races would work great, so I have nothing to complain about. I would prefer this to be right, since the layout seems fun. I this doubt Blizzard would really throw their game plan out in the open like that though.

That's my exact point really. Well thought-out doesn't mean it's correct - at all, but people are inclined to agree, because "he was correct about Blood Elves, Draenei and Northrend...", but fail to take into consideration that the post was done after BC's release, and around the state that zones of Wrath of the Lich King would be known. Add to that, that Worgen and Pandaren are - for obvious reasons - races that most people would like to see, making it even easier to believe.
Besides, leaving Grim Batol only as a sub-leveling zone? Come on now... Totally ignoring Deathwing and the literally tons of lore residing with that place? That would be outright stupid.
Anyway - if it was indeed from an original post from 2003, why wasn't it linked to, since it was obviously just "stumbled upon" on the forums.
