Changing Spec at 60: Affl > Destro. Requesting Advice

I've been an Affliction Warlock for a long time, always been keen on Destruction.
So, here's the catch. As off now, I'm lvl 53. I'm thinking of speccing Destro at 60 due to the high amount of Spell Damage slapped on you in the 60-70 grind.

I prefer the BGs and Old School World PvP(As far as that still exists...).
Though I'll probably join a 5v5 Arena Team with some friends of mine.
Anyways, about the "noobguard" spec. Could you(or any other user) tell me the details about the way they play and such. First time I look at the Demo tree ^_^

Leveling is about less downtime. With destruction, you end up drinking/eating no matter what. I speced affliction at level 56 and noticed the difference in downtime I had between mobs. I was destro prior to the switch.

Hmmm, you convinced me to stay Affl(or possibly Demo) till 70.
But how does Destro fare in PvP at the moment?
Of course, I've been watching some DrakeDog movies, but I know it's not as easy as he makes it look.
