Yes let's see... I have a druid myself (Lvl 70) , and believe me when i say this, NO ONE never wanna have a cat form druid in their group/raid. You should either be tanking (then you can quest for yourself and cat form in bg) or be a healer.
Instead of cat form druids, they better wanna have rogues for the dps. Roll tanking or Healing mate... All i have to say to you.

Definately in BG you should not use Tree form. In raids don't use healing touch... So it's simply enough..
Also the Tree of Life form got a buff, that does you heal 20% ekstra of your spirit for party members in 30 or 40 yards. It would be likely the best form in instances.

Well most of the Karazhan druids says the "Sorry guys not specced" stuff. Maybe because they are new to it or is concerned about the others like them or not.
Most of the Karazhan druids don't use the Innervate ability or the Battle rez (In combat).
That is why the most of raid groups take only a few or absolutely none druids with them. Most of them think that they are only 100% of one thing too.
But btw how do you put your name in Link to the armory in your signature?

}Aya Silkrose{/ur}, 70 druid
Replace the { }s with s. Fill in your own realm for Hyjal and your own toon for Ayasilkrose.
Thanks a lot.
And yes i think my experience is a lot more different than yours. I play on silvermoon where the top raiding guilds demands a like 12 play hours a day. So i have joined a less experienced new raiding guild so i have another kind of experience.

I'm actually OT in kara as a feral druid...
That's one of the best spot for a druid since i'm NEVER useless...
Fights like attumen, moroes, trash, i OT (or MT when the MT gets bored) and when only one tank is needed i go dps gear and give all i can...
Use your innervates and BR and your group will love you... Drop a little heal when you see the healers have a little trouble, your raid will never want you to leave...
Not using those (Innervate, BR and heals) even as a feral druid is unacceptable.

All right please stop playing your druid and roll another class. The best setup for a 10 man has a druid as an off-tank, not main. Or even 2 ferals tanking but NEVER is the 2nd 1 always tanking. Why? Its the versatility it brings to the raid. A quick shift in gear and you can DPS just aswell or more so than a rogue. I personally have 30k armor/14.1kp/37% dodge in tank gear but a quick shift (itemrack) and I have 3.2k AP, 37% crit and 15 expertise, or even put on healing gear and heal considering Naturalist allows any feral to throw healing touches for 3 secs. So please re-roll or study your class and the real use you bring to a raid.

Bear-form feral druids
bring the following unique abilities to the tanking table:
Takes less damage per hit than other tanks, but gets hit more often (i.e., takes more damage overall, but more smoothly)
Best tank for fast-hitting melee bosses or bosses that can't perform crushing blows (e.g., Gruul's Hurtful Strikes, Nalorakk, Halazzi)
Best overall combination of tanking ability and DPS ability in the game
Best DPS while tanking of any tank class
+5% physical crit aura
Best DPS while tanking... Yeah that reminds me, about a week ago, when I was 67, I was tanking in MT with a group of which one was a 70 mage. When they showed the damage meter halfway through, I was
second
in DPS (the first being the mage ofc) !! Everyone was like 'Wtf? Tank is 2nd in DPS?' Man did I lol that day :D
O and Nabterayl, I think you forgot to mention Imp Leader of the Pack in your list.

Im feral and i OT/DPS through out Kara. Most are undead so no bleeds but sit behind them and shred them up. Hurricane helps with the spectral guests and battle rez is always used for the healer nto paying attention to himself. If a guild says ur useless then they dont know shit and will end up not getting far. I think I only have 4 pieces that differ from dps gear to tanking gear. IF you know your character then you will have no problem advancing along.

I'm thinking of rolling a tauren druid and I was just curious as to how much dps a cat could do in say Kara. Or would I just be better off as healing/tanking. Thanks in advance.
a really well played feral druid can outdps rogues and fury warriors, and our gear is not that hard to acquire (mainly through quests). our ability to tank just as well, if not better than a prot warrior, without having to change specs is just fantastic...just simply a change of gear and form.
I kind of wouldnt mind healing. So in a raid would a healing touch build be better or stick with the classic tree form?
well, you can either be a dreamstate resto druid who uses healing touches and relies on high mp/5 and int to keep his mana up, or you can be the classic tree form. both are effective for different situations. it really just depends on what you prefer to play as. most guilds would be willing to accept both. being resto doesnt necessarily mean being a tree.
all of the posts about a druid's versatility is what makes us the perfect 5th member for a 5-man party:
tank + healer + ranged dps/CC + melee dps/CC + balance/feral druid. works every time.
