...that i had complains about my low hp while standing unbuffed at the summoning stone for CoS heroic with 32874 hp?
How are new tanks supposed to gear up if people isnt happy with a ilevel 216.6 tank for their heroic?
I dont know about you but i think the general attitude of the average wow player sucks.
Oh, and its perfectly fine if the dps warrior/dk does 800 dps. Hell i used to do that much as ret in 2.4 at level 70.
Then people is surprised because there's lack of tanks/healers...

People are idiots, get over it.
There are several warrior/DK/druid DPS who refuse to tank.

This is a better attitude, but you've still overshot the marker. My first heroics were tanked when I had 19k unbuffed, with ~530ish defense, and a similarly geared healer, and we ran into few real problems. People just need to realize that heroics are nearly idiot proof already, and they're lucky they didn't have to do them when they were still
kind of
difficult, haha.
This.
I have direct experience with this because I have two healers and two tanks at 80; I got one of each to 80 within the first 3 weeks and got the other healer and tank theremuch more recently.
My first tank had just under 20k hp (I broke 20k with my first heroic drop) and 534 def (so close!). My healer I'm a little more fuzzy on (1300 sp and 14000 mana iirc). I was getting begged to heal and tank heroics.
With BoE epics at my disposal my second tank had 24k hp and 539 def, and I was getting "omg he better be in ret gear" comments. My healer had 1500 sp and 1600 mana (less comments at least).

Thats why Im group lead.
Anyone says stupid ass &*!@ like that they get kicked. If they are that retarded I dont even want to see how they play. I dont mind being top DPS and damage done, but people are going to either shut up, or be pleasant if Im going to give them a free ride.

Yeah, I stopped tanking for all groups but guildies/friends because of the attitude that it's all the tanks fault.
I just DPS everything else.

Yesterday, I enrolled for ToCh N because Ive finally completed my tanking set (I heal normaly). Items around ilvl 200, defense slightly over 535.
24k HP unbuffed.
I got invitation to the HC version. I said "I have low HP", they said "Doesnt matter as long as you are capped".
I went in, tanked it, done it. No deaths.
My first tanking experience.
(ofc it was "easy" because we had priest for shadow resist and I then popped frost + divine sacrifice at the beginning fo the last phase, but Im certain we could do it in a worse group composition... certainly:)
the army of the dead phase was a lil mess I admit)
So though I do beleive you, I dont beleive the ppl who complained about your health pool.
Yes, all that ppl are looking at is tank HP. DPS doesnt matter, Ive never seen a kick due to low DPS (theres usualy one member who is above par so there is breathing space for noobs).

I find this mentality funny too. Health is really nice to have in heroics, especially for a pally, because if you sacrifice a little avoidance for health, you can keep your mana up a bit better.
You should see my heroic set. It's a bunch of 213 gear with a few 226 pieces thrown in. I tried tanking many times in my raiding gear, but it's almost impossible, unless I want to sit and drink every pull.
Ok, so what am I getting at? being in all 245 gear isnt making a heroic any easier, in fact, it's counter productive. If the group is decent, that should be make it happen. I think I lose about 4k health when I go to my heroic set. lol
