Our guild did some old world content on the weekend. During C'Thun, I died twice (we wiped once to broken eye beam mechanic) when I got swallowed. Both times I was only in there for a few seconds, Diguestive Acid was at 2 or 3 stacks, but it was hitting me for 10k. I'm a shadow priest, and as I lay there I noticed other people were taking only very small amounts of damage from this DOT. Anyone ever seen that before?

broken eye beam mechanic
Sigh.
As for your actual question, the digestive acid from the stomach should only do 150 damage per stack. 10k is obviously wrong/bugged since even tanks would be oneshotted by that at level 60.

Well, I suppose they could have intended for the beam to kill people 180 degrees behind it, but it seems unlikely...
The digestive acid thing does definitely seem like a bug though, I'm wondering if anyone else has seen it or if there's anything I can do to avoid it.

1. Yes, there is a bug that he currently kills those behind the beam, and not those just in front.
2. Stomach acid scales with spellpower. Casters need to GTFO.
Both are bugs reported

That's the dark glare. Eye beam is the one he shoots at a player that chains to others in range and increases in damage for every jump.

Oh I didn't know what the actual move was called, I was just describing it. Sorry for the confusion.
Slimda: That was very helpful, thank you!
