Jack continued moving the oar, clearly exerting a fair amount of effort in doing so.
Bip let out an absent-minded sigh, still staring at the former noblewoman as he laid on the floor.

Character:
Victor Cravet, Anariss Savagekin
Location:
Teldrassil, Darnassus
The scarf pulled Tristan into the hand of the wizard, who grasped him firmly by the shoulder and made him face the night elf. "Now then miss, I believe you owe Tristan an apology."
She glared up at him. "What? Why?"
"Because you offended him and jumped him. And I will not even consider you coming along if you can't even recognize when you have done wrong. I'm waiting."
The druid screwed up her face. She eyed Tristan spitefully as though this were all his fault. She shifted her weigh between her feet, then bowed her head slightly. "...Fine. I'm sorry for eating your soup and...jumping you like that." She looked up, eyes burning pridefully. "That good enough?"
Victor looked at the boy in his grasp.
Character:
Maximilian Totentaz
Location:
Thousand Needles
"Don't call me Max!"
The small vessel skimmed across the glassy surface of the lake. Moonlight painted the water silver, the boat's sails white like ghostly wings, compelling them forward at a steady pace as both men grew accustomed to the heavy plying of the oars. The shore stretched in the distance like immense shadows hemming them in, dark as pitch. The towers of stone which once gave the canyon its name rose like islands all about them, the boat giving them a wide berth for on many burned strange fires, before which wandered large hunched figures.
Eventually the shore grew before them. The other end of the long lake began to manifest out of the night, as a sliver on the black horizon, then growing larger and joining with either of those on the sides.

Character:
Prince Revanchis Ravenlock
Location:
Tol Barad, Tunnels
It was unspeakably dark. The tunnels beneath the graveyard were steeped in subterranean shadow, one in which the blue and yellow eyes of the darkfallen and his skeletal guard glowed like faint candles. Revanchis sighed heavily, the sound lost in the rattle of his skeletal guards in their clumsy armour, every ring of steel against bone amplified tenfold by the narrow tunnel. He stopped and rounded on them. "Be quieter! The amount of noithe you're all making ith unnactheptable! I'm going deaf lithening to you lot!"
"Sorry master. We will try."
"Good!" Revanchis turned around and started off again, and was once more surrounded by the clatter of the skeletons in their armour. He pressed both hands to his ears and grit his teeth. How he hated these missions.
Fortunately, it appeared his summation was at least right. These tunnels did indeed run under the Tol Barad Peninsula, likely dug by the prisoners when lacking any other form of distraction and looking for a way out, only to find themselves in the catacombs with the living dead. He smiled in the gloom. Soon enough.
He stopped suddenly and drew up, coming to a solid wall, newly plastered over. He grinned, then cried out as his entourage bumbled into him from behind, slamming him against the wall as the rear ranks ran into the fore, and so on.

The woman stopped at a sudden noise. From the old ceiling dust shook loose, showering her already dirty form in even more of the same. She looked down and found the puddle of rank, stinking liquid around her naked feet rippling from sudden vibrations.

With effort Renchis extracted himself from the wall. He whirled upon his skeletons, coloured grey in his night vision as they tried to shambe back to their feet. "Idiotth! Look at what you did. My robeth are filthy!"
"Sorry Master."
"Thorry ithn't good enough. No, no. Turn around. All of you. Right now. I can't even look at you!"
Mindlessly obedient, the skeletons shuffled around to face back down the tunnel. The darkfallen watched them, quivering with anger. He coughed, smoothing back his hair and brushing dust from his red cloak. "M-hmm. Right. Well then, okay. Now." He looked up. "Now, thith thpot wath plathtered over. Fortunately, I thought thith might happen, henth you three carrying thoth hammerth. Though you three, get to work!"
Stepping aside, the darkfallen watched as three of his skeletal minions shuffled backwards towards the walls. They turned as one and, raising their warhammers, bashed the ancient stone work. The wall shuddered against the blow, buckling, yet resisting. With mindless obedience, the trio raised their hammers, and let them fall again.

She took a step away from the wall as it quaked then calmed. She looked suspiciously at the spot, considering for a second to disappear down the tunnel. The second strike had her back away another step, yet she remained. She raised a hand to shield her eyes for when the masonry inevitably yielded, and closed the other into a bony fist...

With a final crack the wall tumbled down in so many pieces of brick. A cloud of dust blustered into the air and sent the torchlight flickering down the halls. No sooner had the dust settled it rose again beneath the gust of the darkfallen's long scarlet cloak, fluttering about him like bloodied wings. His blue eyes gleamed out of his deathly pallor. He grinned showing his white teeth as he stepped into the chamber. He suddenly stopped as the fetid water from the puddle sank into his shoes, and his smile quickly fell into a frown of defeated frustration.
"Oh fantathtic," he grimaced, shoes squelching as he stepped on to dry stone once more.

Maria the Lightbender
Location:
Cape of Lost Hope, Tol Barad
"Far more treacherous than necessary," Vala'Sin said, stepping from the small skiff he had his companions had used to travel to this... tiny, pathetic little island. "It's almost as if Mister Dartskul wanted me dead." He chuckled shaking his head.
"Where do we go from here?" the Forsaken clothed in white - Maria the Lightbender - asked him.
"South, where else?" The ornately-armored half-elf said, starting the walk. "That's where our goal is hiding, somewhere in the broken prisons. Be sure those two don't get left behind."
Maria nodded and with a flash of light sent the miserable-looking darkfallen elf twins walking after Vala'Sin and in front of her.

Location:
Lower Wilds Shore, Feralas
On the shore that connected Feralas to Thousands needles, a tiny figure laid down, relaxed and happy, on the dirt-grass shore of the recently-made sea. It was no Stranglethorn or Barrens, but it would do nicely.

Through the settling dust Angela watched with watering eyes and growing surprise how a darkfallen exited from the breach. Shocked, she lowered both her hands and stared at the gleaming white teeth for a second as the undead elf stepped forward. She bowed reverently as he entered the chamber only to be forced to suppress a snort at his ridiculous lisp and squeaky shoes. "My lord," she mumbled noncommittally.

"If you say so, my lord," she continued in the same manner, making no promises. Though she did admit - in silence - that both a bath and some new rags would be welcome.
Glancing past the darkfallen she saw the entourage of skeletons and wrinkled her brows slightly. "Though frankly," she spoke after some consideration, "I do not recognize you, only your kin which I thought to be extinct."

"Bah!" the undead cried. He made no more comment on the subject and, with a gesture, started off down the corridor, his shoes squelching and soldiery rattling in their armour to a measured beat.

The human followed, but not until the squad of reanimated warriors had creaked their way past. In the torchlight she watched them intently, like someone would inspect a horse before purchase. Then she hurried to the front of the column, walking on after the prince and wincing constantly when the uneven ground made her bare feet hurt.
