Tanks make things easier on the healer by having enough avoidance, mitigation, stamina and threat generation for the content you are tanking. The only self-healing a blood tank should be doing is deathstriking to produce death runes.
All the self-healing talents are for soloing, leveling, or pvp and not for tanking.
If your gonna be tanking heroics in order to gear your DK for higher content, you should be frost until you have better gear.

also corpse explosion doesn't help with aoe tanking. you can't compare howling blast to corpse explosion. corpse explosion is used more towards the end of a fight when *!@# is dying. Which btw for aoe tanking in blood the beginning of the fight is the most difficult part to hold agro. Once your 2nd rotation is up you usually have alot of agro.
definitely take points out of runetap and vendetta. blood worms isn't exactly useful for tanking either since the healing is minimal. I doubt you'll see a whole lot of spell dmg hits that will make spelldeflection worth having until you start raiding. so you could save some points there too.
your better off getting bloodgorged for the extra threat thru ArP, subversion for the extra crit or scent of blood for the runic power. imp icy touch is also worth having to reduce incoming dmg. look up the usual blood tanking specs on this forum...there are specific talents that all tanks get and ones not to get because they have no viable use for tanking.

Go with Harmacy's build, he know's what he's on about. But personally, I'd take the point out of Mark of Blood for some good ol' necro-pyrotechnical luvin'.
IMO, if it were between Mark of Blood and Corpse Explosion, any self-respecting Death Knight should opt for CE. ;-]
