Blame the healer

Okay so I healed old kingdom hc today with my shammy and all 3 dps died in second boss because the boss killed them with embrace of the vampyr, which does damage and heals the boss and makes the target unhealable. So I got blamed for that I didint heal the targets affected by this attack. Well since the attack reduces healing 100% how could I do that? so all of the dps just died one at a time and they were really angry to me cause I didint heal them while they were taking damage. I tried to explain that I couldnt and they are unhealable but no, they were !@#$ed. All of the 3 dps had epic gear and 2 of them did under 2k dps and one did 2,7k dps so I think its a lack of dps because only way to free them was dpsing the boss. We did duo the boss with tank. The second time we wiped was almost right after that. Tank pulled a pack and everything was going fine exept there was a pat that came and tank took them but 1 got away and came to me and attacked me while rest of the group was killing the other mobs. So eventually I died because the mob was hitting hard and I could keep myself and grp alive at the sime time. I died so no more heals and everyone else died too and appearantly it was my fault. After that no wipes exept dk died once cause we agroed another pat later on and the whole pat attacked him at once and he went down pretty fast and I didint have a chance to heal him. It was my fault too. And they said Im a bad healer.
Semms like healers always gets the blame no matter what the dps or tank does. Was this all really
my fault? After the run tank started complaining to me that I should learn to heal because dps was alive 60% of the time. Okay so 2 wipes and 1 dead is 60% of the time I guess. And I am a bad healer right?

Well, if you help DPS while embrace is up, the target will have a lower chance of being killed.

As a healer, you can / must make sure everyone is topped off from the damage from the fire orbs before he embraces. It seems that some dps are pros at getting hit by aoe.

There's 3 basic rules to determine who's at fault for deaths: if the tank dies, it's the healer's fault, if the healer dies, it's the tank's fault, and if the DPSers die, it's their own damn fault. This is, of course, barring any unique boss abilities that require the healer to keep an eye on the DPSers' health bars (AOE damage and the like).
Getting sick of seeing this overly simplistic and outdated quip. It assumes that if the DPS takes damage it means they did too much DPS and pulled aggro. In reality that's almost never the case. It is extremely hard to pull aggro in this game unless a DPSer vastly outgears the tank. When DPS take damage it's usually because of AoE abilities or randomly targetted attacks.
The exception is when people don't move out of void zones, but that can apply to DPS, tanks, or healers alike.

Healing is a thankless job that, if a DPS goes down, I'd say 75% of the time they will blame you due to ignorance.
As far as the debuff scenario is concerned, it's their own fault for not realizing it. The only way you can stop him is to burn him down to force him to stop. Like the above said link the debuff and tell them to shush.
The DK screwed up, you may have been able to heal him, but most likely he deserved to go down for not staying with the group.
The only scenario where you could be at fault was when a mob was on you. Yes, it is the Tank's responsibility to pay attention and keep aggro, especially if it doesn't one-shot you. However, if one slips through it is far easier for you to run towards the tank so he can pick it up than to expect him to run over to you, let alone expect the DPS to survive any easier from being hit. Heal yourself through it (use your OHSHI- CD if you need to, even on trash) but get over to him so he can peel him off. It's ridiculous to expect them to always focus on you and your aggro problems (especially since your window should be next to 0 save for your healing, an easy peel for him so to speak).
So, 2 out of 3 you're not to blame. The only one I can legitimately see where you messed up was not trying to get the mob back to the tank.
If all else fails, skip the Daily Heroic. It's only 2 badges and not worth the headaches if you can't find a group that can complete it efficiently...and please don't tell me you can't find another group to hook up, especially if you're a healer. Takes no more than 10 minutes max for me to find a group that needs a healer most of the time.

If the tank dies because the healers were sleeping, its the healer's fault.
If the tank dies because he didn't avoid Icehowl's charge, it was his/her fault.
If the tank dies due to boss enrage, it was the DPS' fault.
If the DPS die because someone didn't heal them in flame whirl, its the healer's fault.
If the DPS die because nobody picked up Anub's adds it was the tank's fault.
If the DPS die because they danced in the void zone, its their fault.
If the healer died because they got iceblocked and nobody healed, it was the other healers fault.
If the healer died because no interrupt on Shadowstrike, its the DPS's fault... tank if on interrupts.
If the healer died because the tank was facing Koralon into the raid, it was the tank's fault.
tl;dr - Generalisations are stupid.
