It'll be a lot harder on the tanks without pallies, because no raid will ever bring 4 shamans to a raid and ask them for tranquil air (This is assuming the DPS + Healers got a shaman in their group each).
Chain healing is nice, and makes things so much easier, but we've also raided up to Hyjal without a shaman healing. So If I have to choose, I'll say that alliance will have a much higher chance of finishing raid content compared to hordes if neither side got the new class.

it really depends on the dedication of the players behind the characters rather than the classes of each faction.
i mean, nihilum was the first to clear Naxx and they never had paladins back then

I remember pre-BC, there was a *ton* of qqing on the horde side for their lack of the best raiding buff in the game: Blessing of Salvation. You're talking about raising a raid's threat ceiling by a huge amount, considerably more than tranquil air (which obviously requires a shaman IN the party).
Just pointing at one overachieving guild as proof is foolish. The question truly is would it have been easier for Nihilium to clear Naxx with BoSalv?

Yes, I agree, but my point was that that it's not the classes that matter, but rather, the players behind the characters.
