You're comparing apples to oranges, my friend. Sure they're both fruits, but one goes great in pies and the other has more nutrients!

nothing wrong with having more than one tank :) I've got a pally dk and druid tank. After I get my hunter to 80 and geared I'll have a warrior too.

Like the others have said, its pretty 50:50. Both warriors and tankadins have their advantages. In equal gear, pallys (generally) will do more tps (single mob and once they get astablished on multi-mob pulls) (I've never had a tank pull of my tankadin in raid when we have simillar gear), and have higher block (most of the time; from HS). Warriors have more O-S#IT buttons, and so (usually) can outlast pallys. It'll depend on the fight who you want MT. If your having TPS problems with a war (and healing isn't being a prob) you may want to try switching to a pally or tell your dps to wait longer. If your tanks a pally and dieing cuz he can't take the hits (running healers oom to quick or just getting hit to hard to fast) or not lasting long enough might want to try a war or get new dps.
I know those are silly examples, but w/e. It depends on the fight, the gear of the tanks, the healers, and the dps. Whatever works for ya. Experiment. It sounds like you'd like making a pally, go for it. I had fun lvling mine. GL & HF
