What level do you have to be for shield spikes? I don't have that yet.
shield spikes are items created by blacksmithing, ask a friend for one
When I cast Seal of Light it automatically puts a buff on me, I'm not sure how to put it on the monster - unless you mean Judge it? I do that too, usually I use the Seal of the Crusader first, then Judge it, then use seal of light , then Judge that, then just Seal of Retribution and Judge that untill the monster dies - since it wont overwrite the JoL it keeps healing me so it's nice.
1~2 monster: seal & judge crusader, seal & judge righteousness
3+ monsters: seal & judge light/wisdom, depending on if you need HP or mana
light is used in raids on your target (not yourself)
there's a blessing called blessing of light later in the game, that's what i was referring to
lemme list the blessings
blessing of might - increases attack power
blessing of wisdom - restores mana
blessing of kings - increases stats by 10%
blessing of sanctuary - reduces damage taken and reflects damage on block
blessing of light - increases healing taken by holy light and flash of light
blessing of freedom - immunity from snares
blessing of protection - immunity from physical effects
blessing of sacrifice - some damage done to the target is transferred to the paladin
Why Sanctuary when you AoE? and not Light for the healing? Don't 6 -7 monsters kill you pretty fast?
sanctuary reduces damage per hit, and most of your healing will be coming from seal/ judgement of light anyways which isn't affected by blessing of light, sanctuary also reflects damage
If I use Might or King's I seem to have to drink more because I have less mana is it more DPS to use Might or Kings?
drink up after a couple fights, or use seal/judgement of wisdom if you need mana
i used a rotation like this:
AoE 6 mobs
AoE 6 mobs
AoE 6 mobs
kill one mob using seal/judgement of light
kill one mob using seal/judgement of wisdom
rinse and repeat
and then which is better? and whats AP? armor?
kings is better for prot paladin
AP = attack power, it adds damage to your weapon swings, paladins get 2 AP/1 strength
Sorry for all the questions but I'm new so alot of what people say I'm not sure about what the letters mean - I'm figuring it out tho ;)
meh... you have to start out somewhere
I am ret spec and typically I have on Devotion aura, blessing of might, SoC, judge, SoR and go to town. Hit lvl 40 tonight.
ret paladin whould have imp. sanctity aura which increases holy damage by 10% and all damage done by 2%
blessing of might is ideal for ret paladin
your kill cycle should be
judgement of crusader
seal of command
hammer of justice
judgement of command
seal of command
you should be using a really slow speed, high DPS weapon so your SoC procs often and does the most damage possible
your choice at this point should be
Pendulum of Doom: uldaman thrash drop (note, PoD are considered "twink item" so it may be better to sell it)http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9425
Bonebiter: alliance quest for SM, starts in the inn of southshorehttp://www.wowhead.com/?item=6830
X'caliboar: rare boss drop in RFKhttp://www.wowhead.com/?item=10758
Ravager: Herod drop, no stats but a cool effecthttp://www.wowhead.com/?item=7717

What I have is Verigan's Fist
for 2 handed hammer and Ancient War Sword
for 2 handed sword. I don't have 2 handed axe. I have Diamond Hammer
for 1 handed hammer. I can't remember what my 1 handed axe is, or my 1 handed sword is right now.
I mostly use my hammers and Thermaplugg's Central Core
for shield when I fight. The 2 hander when solo and hammer/shield in groups or if monsters hit fast [for the extra damage done with redoubt and shield specific talent points, which I can't remember the names of right now.
I haven't done Uldaman yet - I 'just' got the quests so hopefully I will be lucky to find that axe , especially since I dont have one yet! I practiced with a trash drop axe for a while just so I would have some skills so at least I can use it if I do get it :)
OH! and I learned how to make Iron shield spikes - I just need 1 more Coarse Grinding Stone :) That should make killing more than 1 monster easier. I have done 3 of my level so far but man its hard for me. I can't imagine 6! I run out of mana too fast - I had to have a potion to have enough for 3 :(
