You will love being able to gather both mines and herbs !
Know that you will/should know the zone you are gathering in, and will know all the locations of the nodes to gather from so you will just develope a pattern to fly to and will hardly ever look at the mini map.
Gatherer is a good mod, it will record what you gather and put an icon on the map. This will help you to know the zone and where you need to go.
