I would'nt say Improved Slam is worthless. There's a lot of situation where you could have the opportunity to wait 0.5 secs to land it: stun from intercept or mace spec, improved armstring, Intiminating shout, etc...
It's situational but it's still nearly the damage of a MS.
As for your build Tbonez, I just put it in the Talent generator to see where I am going.
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LGGfdw0sM0koZirkdMg0cHere's my opinion
Arms:
-Imp Heroic: Useless, especialy if you want to try Imp Slam.
-Imp Rend: Rend is horrible, dont boost it, dont use it. period
so just get 5 in Deflection, not much but its the better that we have in this part of the tree.
-Imp charge: 6 extra rage per combat ? I am sure we can get better
-Imp Thunderclap: TC is a tanking hability, use piercing howl for AOE slow and Demoralizing Shout to unstealth rogues and druids.
Iron will is the best here, stick 5 points in there.
you NEED 3 points in deep wounds to get Impale, choose if you want Anger Management or not but get max deep wounds.
-Impale is awesome, get it, love it.
-2h spec: put some points as filler.
-Max your weapons spec
-I tend to get Improved Armstring because I like Slam.
-After MS, Second Wind is the most powerfull talent in the warrior trees. 10% of your life is easily 1,1k with arena gear.
Fury:
-Booming Voice: meh, just remember to shout often and spare talent points.
-Unbridled wrath is not much but it's still better than Imp demo shout.
-Commanding Presence is more AP or HP for you and your party, ill prefer that for arenas but maybe Blood Craze could be interesting to try.
-Imp execute shines in PVE where you spam it at the end of boss fights, not sure it's worth 2 points
So, maybe ill change your template to something like:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LV0xbIbqMbzbZVVzm0gRcAs for Instances, dont worry. You can manage to tank normal intances if your party gives you some time to build aggro ( but Tactical Mastery would be usefull if you want to push it a bit )

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LV0xbAbog0zbZE0zVMxRbIs the best 2H spec, IMO. I'd take swords over maces in the Arenas. Mace spec has been nerfed twice, and who knows what Blizz will do with it? In addition, Swords have better burst damage capabilities. That is, unless you already have something like a Stormherald or a Torch of the Damned, then I would just stay with Mace Spec.
In any regards, Improved Intercept, Second Wind, Mortal Stroke, 5/5 in Iron Will, Deathwish, and Weapon Mastery are all an absolute necessity when it comes to Warrior PvP. I would only use Tactical Mastery if you are skilled and use a Shield/Spell Reflect Defensive stance macro.
I'm not a huge believer in using Flurry with a 2-hander in PvP. When you are in the higher end brackets of PvP, you aren't going to be getting a lot of hits before your are stunned, CC'd, kited, etc.....so you need to rely on your instant attacks such as MS and WW. When I had my Warrior at the 2000+ brackets and had Flurry, most of the Flurry charges went to waste anyways. I figure it'd be better to put the points in SS and Imp. Zerker Rage.
Oh, and you are going to have a heck of a time if you want to PvE. DPS Warriors are ridiculed almost as badly as Boomkins or Ret Pallys and finding a Heroic instance group as DPS is pretty difficult. However, if you are solely a PvP Warrior, you only need to reach Revered with the Cenarion Expedition to get that +34 AP and +17 Hit to Head Enchant.
Finally, prepare to go through some serious hell for about 4-6 months obtaining PvP gear. Warriors are absolutely atrocious without having the best gear in the game. If you do not have at least 4/5 Season 2, full Vets, PvP Trinkets, and a 125+ DPS 2-hander, don't expect much out of the game. You need that kind of gear, as well as some kind of healer/support class for backup, to do any kind of damage in PvP. There isn't another class close to a Warrior in gear dependancy. Just prepare for the very long hard road ahead.
