Improved slam becomes a great PvP ability as long as you know how to use it it can up your burst dmg quite alot, imp intercept is also very useful for PvP but from your point of view ( as you want to raid and PvP) imp slam will fit in both PvP and PvE while intercept is only usefull in PvP.
This is my opinion ofc :) you can play how ever you want

Improved Slam is really superb. I use it straight after every charge/intercept, and with a 0.5 sec cast time, it's really worth the 2 points.

2h PvE needs Improved Slam. Really it does.
After 2.3 you can do
this
. (2.3 should be out Tues, so not much of a wait) Just imagine Sweeping Strikes as Death Wish, and Weapon Mastery as Improved Intercept. However should you get disarmed, its going to suck since you can't pick up Weapon Mastery. You may want a Weapon chain, but you then lose out on enchants.
You can pick your weapon spec. I just put them in sword for the example. Though maces kind of suck in PvE, axes in PvP. Sword does work as a middle ground.
Raid bosses aren't effected by more than 2 points in Improved Demo I believe, so more than that is not needed. Frees up 3 for other places.
i would grab improved Thunder clap and improved rend i think there pretty nice talents but its up to you =DImp Thunder Clap is very good, but it can be left up to the tank since they should have it. Imp Rend is friggin laughable. Possibly harsh, but true.
