Arena Questions! Please Help! <3

Hey I've been playing Wow since BC but i have always stuck to Pve i ahvent stepped foot in an Arena Seriously ever... I've only done it as a joke with my friends and died...a lot.
Recently I've been collecting PvP Gear from Bgs and Vault. I got 594 Resil atm and over 22,000 Health unbuffed.
My main Questions are the following...
1. How much resilience
Minimum
would i need for some survivability in arena?
2. What would be a good arena partner for 2v2 3v3 and 5v5?
3.What is prefered Spec For 3.1 arena?
