(I saw somewhere that 3 of 5 men above the age of 25 have been raped, or something similar)
Ivok posted that. He later said it was fake, and then deleted the post. Only an estimated 5-10% of rape victims are male.

Are you sure it's not one out of 5 rape victims is a male instead of one out of 5 males is a rape victim?

According to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network, about 1 in every 10 rape victims is male in the United States, and about 2.78 million men have experienced an attempted or completed rape in their lifetime. About 44% of rape victims are under 18 years of age, and 15% are younger than 12 years. The gender of a rape or abuse victim can be a very important contextual factor in examining the varying needs of victims, as it can affect whether or not a victim receives support after being sexually abused. Also, it can drastically affect the victim's likelihood to disclose rape and seek support from others.This only covers US.

Translating a quote from my language;
"With every right comes a duty"
Meaning that you can't expect to be given rights without doing anything (duties) for them.
What annoys me about Feminism is that it gives lots of rights but barley any duty.
This is one of the examples as to how that is.
But don't take me wrong, I'm not entierly against Feminism.
I do think that both genders are (should be) equal.

It seems as though the accuracy of the statements have led the debate slightly off-track.
Disregarding the statistics, I would think that homosexual rape would be the most common for the male victims. Also, you should be able to feel traumatized by anything you wanted, if you weren't traumatized by something that went against your will from beginning to the end, well...

I'm gonna go ahead and tick everyone off:
The reason no one really talks about men getting raped is that most of them were reaped at a young age by clergymen, and it's not really politically correct to insult clergymen. Then of course, it's not politically correct to molest kids eithier, eh?
Also, it's much more shameful for a man to get raped, especially if it's by a man. Why? The second you hear about a man being raped, it jumps to your mind that he might be gay as a result.
In my opinion, male rape is more devasting emotionally because men are pressured by society to hold their feelings in.
So many things wrong with that post.
