Agreed, the Chaotic Skyflare is miles above and beyond any of the other Metas for mages. ESPECIALLY those spec'd as Frostfire where crits are our bread and butter.
Your hit rating is very high, but fine if you don't have any druids, spriests, or draenei casters in your group. I'd consider picking up a few pieces of gear that you can swap out for the occasions where you have less need for 379 hit rating.

Besides changing the meta you should prolly look into your hit rating..
Unless you are raiding without spriest or boomkin and dranei aura, you are way over hit cap.. Refer to sticky on where you should be..
Changing gems for sp and crit gems will help..
And seeing that enchant on your cloak just made me sad.. Get Lightweave Embroidery..

Well you want the Icewalker for the CRIT not necessarily the hit. In your case the crit easily outweighs the hit because you're super-hit capped.
I agree with Marthon - Potent Monarch topazes in all yellow slots.
TBH I think one of the big things holding you back right now is that
hit trinket
. You can get a SERIOUS crit trinket or even a SP trinket in there to do some wrecking ball style damage increase. I actually really like that
Cannoneer's Fuselighter
for a really long time. NOT a bad crit trinket! I use it off and on with a DMC Illusion in case I feel mana drain is gonna happen for the fight.
