If you want to solo and only dps
go warlock or hunter, do you like using dark powers or shooting people with arrows?
Answer that and you are done

There really needs to be a stickie thread for this very question since it gets asked like 3 times a day. Play a Shaman, or Druid, Hunters are fun to, but so are warlocks...mages are also cool.

Because you don't want to heal or tank, do NOT pick a Priest, Druid, or Shaman. Chances are high that you'll be asked to heal, or invited to a group with them expecting you to heal (had this happen to me way too many times on my Shadow Priest...).
From a personal leveling stand point, Hunters seem to hold my interest the most. Warlocks are cool, but get extremely boring very quickly... and with a Mage I can't seem to level one past 14...
Not saying Warlocks and Mages are bad classes, I just don't find them to be as much fun as my Hunter.
Then again, I BG quite a bit while leveling, so that might be the real deciding factor for me.

If you want to be able to solo/quest. Go with a lock. Decent DPS on the meters, and you've always got your voidwalker to play tank for you while you dps.
On the flipside. Mages do GREAT DPS on the meters. If you are afraid to lvl, dualspec frost for leveling/pvp. You'll love it.
My main is an Arcane Mage, not yet DualSpecced for frost, but I leveled from 1-80 as frost.
I am in the midst of leveling a warlock....but I'm still liking my Mage overall.

What I have done in the past if I had a hard time to decide, I decided on a Character, started it, and leveled all the way to lvl 10 (Usually you start getting a cool new spell at that lvl, plus you start the talent tree, plus, leveling to 10 is a breeze). If I really really like it by then, and I'm not at all bored, I'll stick with it. Otherwise, I start the next one and do the same. You end up spending a bit of extra time but, at least you'll find out which one you really want to lvl all the way to 80. Start with the one you sure you might really like. Who knows, it might be the first one you take all the way to 80.
What I also have done in addition, if there is nothing interesting YET spell wise by lvl 10, but by lvl 12 or 13 or 14 etc. you get something cool, keep going. That one new spell might just convince you to keep going (like getting a Voidwalker, or a shapeshift form etc,. etc.)
Just my suggestion.
