I'm always looking for a way to be better. This is my
World of Logs
report for my guilds Deathbringer kill. (We did 4 attempts in ToGC which are also on there, but ignore those because I kept getting chain disconnected :( )
Does it look like there is anything I can do to improve? Anything I'm not using enough? Too much? etc...
Also, here is a link to my
armory
. If I'm going to continue using
Talisman
would it be better to swtich my SP/Int Gems for straight SP at this point? For the deathbringer kill I used shadowfiend when he was around 20-25% I think, and never had to Hymn of Hope, so mana seemed good.
And last, according to world of logs,
Darkglow Embroidery
restored 2400 mana over the 5min fight. Is that worth it? or do you guys prefer something else?
Thanks in advance!

It's really difficult to give an accurate response when you post a log from a successful kill with only 1 raid member dying, and without knowing what function you were performing (MT, OT, raid), and on the least heal intensive fight of the most recent patch.
You gemming has nothing to do with what trinkets you run. Go back to a fight with much larger damage and then evaluate. If you're cutting it close on mana, don't gem for pure SP. If you're ending every fight with plenty of mana, gem for more SP. Discipline priests i've talked to never have mana issues ever and they go bananas for SP.
And as far as your embriodery, the same logic is implied. Base your gems/chants on your mana needs. If you're ending every fight with 50% mana then gem/chant for more throughput.
this might have just answered most of my question on the disc and rawr post i made, thank you:)

Ya that's the only time I have ran the logs before, and we two shot it that night and didn't remember to start em on the first... sorry :( We run again Wed so I'll keep them for all the fights then and try to re-post when there's more to base suggestions off of.
Oh, and my role was just to heal the tanks as they switched. Hazey (holy pal) and myself (as disc) were in charge of healing them (jonmcgovern/rawdogs), the others were on raid heals. I threw out some PoHs at the end to help out with the raid heals when melee was taking some damage too.
I'm sitting at just above 27k mana right now unbuffed so wasn't sure if I still needed the /int gems. What are other disc priests mana pools sitting at that are healing similar content? (ICC/ToGC 25)
Would
Lightweave
be a good alternative if I don't need the return from darkweave...or are other priests using something different?
Thanks again, and I'll try to have better logs after wed. night.
