Hi guys, first time i'm posting here.. so hi all..
At the moment i'm 64, so closing in to the last few levels..
I wonder where to spend my last few points in..
I come up with this build:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=bVghzhotbZcxxcs0qVb
It's pure for pve healing.
I'm not sure if i want to do raids, but i want to to 5 man instances and heroic instances for sure.
Can any of you give me some feedback about this build?
Thanks in advance..

One of the things i personally would never give up is 3/3
Holy Concentration
. You are not only getting a free healing spell, but some time outside the 5SR as well, which means extra mana for you. ^^
Besides i perfer going for maximum regen and mana saving, instead of a large mana pool. So i would put no points
Mental Strength
, but into
Mental Agility
. This will allow you cast your
Renew
and
Prayer of Mending
for a lot less mana, and those two spells are sometimes all a tank needs to be kept alive.
This should free up 1 Point in the discipline tree, that you could swap over and maximize
Holy Concentration
. ;-)

So skipping empowered healing completly? That id kind of hurt a bit too..

If you want to go that deep into holy, i'd suggest you to pick it up. I am doing fine without it, but it sure is a great help. I did not want to srew your original talent selection over completely, so i tried to suggest some changes that make sense to me. ;-)
It's of course up to you. ^^

Well i's not that i am completely new to the priest.
But i changed my talant tree a few times already, and the costs are high.. i don't want to make the mistake to have to change it back because i screw it up by spending the wrong points.
Just one question ( i know you have already answered that one, but just to make sure) Holy concentration is a great spel? A must have? How many times with 3/3 i get a free cast? Is it a waste if i only spend 2/3 points in it?

Well, maxed out you get a 6% chance, with only 2 points, you have a 4% chance. I would really recommend maxing it. It allows you to exit the 5SR even during rather stressful fights more often.
My current build looks like this, if i recall correctly:

i am thinking of a same build like you but with a few minor difference..
I think i max out silent resolve and one in mental agility.
This because i most offten notice that i can cast two or three renews on the tank before he loses more health then a renew can heal again. And sometimes i still get agro, so the lower my agro is the more time i have before they are beginning to attack me (talking aboud adds), it could be that the tank isn't tanking very good, but there are just good and lesser good tanks, and i can't always have the luck to have a good tank in my PUG.
And dispelling happens mostly after fights because i'm to busy casting heals, and to add i don't use remove diseases anymore, only abolish diseases and that is a one time cast per fight.
And last... i think i prefer three points in empowered healing then in healing prayers, this because i noticed i mostly don't have to use healing powers, and if i do, i cast it in combination with Inner Focus (this because the 25% bonus casting critical hits, and if that happens Inspiration kicks in giving a little bit breathing time.
Thanks for the feedback!!

Hey, I was just wondering about your points in Wand specialization in the first tier of Discipline. Do you find it useful for grinding? Just curious if you think it'll still be useful for an end-game build.
