Yay, derailed thread into flaming of Blizzard. Moving on.
I think they should leave this as an option in the form of making the HoT and/or DoT speedup with haste as a minor glyph rather than a major. This would be a simple way to make it much more of a playstyle choice. (Or perhaps the HoT one. Not necessarily the DoT, that would be better as a major still.)
