Is it just me or have there been a lot of new accounts trolling the forums lately? It seems like people have nothing better to do than create a new WoWHead account just to start arguments. So what if WoWhead changed it so that you can't post in forums till your account has been active for like a week or month? Just a thought. I'd say how about only being able to post if you're premium, but since I don't wanna pay the few extra dollars a month I don't like that plan.
Maybe it's because it's Tuesday and servers have been down, but I've just noticed a lot of new accounts talking flame for no reason
.
You anwsered your own question.

I have noticed this as well. It's sad that these jerks can get away with it with no consequence.
It is not only here, but other forums as well. It's because of the anonymity of the internet.

While I agree that it's becoming more and more of a problem, if you make someone wait a week to post, then their reason for joining (hence to post) will be completely undermined if they realize they can't get their question or their suggestion heard until a week after they have it and therefore find the forums pointless and end up leaving. The only thing WoWhead can really do is get another moderator who'll watch and delete troll topics and such.
and ban more people

The spike may be related to the "we experienced delays during maintainence and have to extend it by another 3 hours" issue. Nerds-a-ragin'.
I really cant wait for them to finish up that hardware/software cycle for the instance problems...

Anyone else who may have stumbled onto this post while looking to troll (IE:
me
) is now dumber for having read it.

This is great... It's as if this mind-giant saying, "I don't have the common sense or editorial ability to censor my own thoughts. Therefore, this website should arbitrarily ban members who fail to lower their intelligence capacity to better mesh with my ignorance!" :D
Whew... amazing

Wowhead really needs some kind of intelligence filter.
