The alliance attack the undead but take back with open arms worgen?
Why is ok to take back one group of deformed humans and leave the other group to be
forsaken
...no pun intended...

The Forsaken want nothing to do with the human race other than to drive them to extinction... plus they are plagued still and would infect the rest of the human race.
P.S. I think this goes in the lore forums

There are plenty of example of forsaken NPS that try to communicate to their living relatives.

Because Genn Graymane is know by Varian, while the walking corpse who leads Undercity isn't.... plus you know, the whole Blight thing.

But come on adam, you must admite there is a hypocritcal nature to all this. The Worgan as anyone has meet so far in game has shown nothing but agression to both horde and alliance, and although they are a different kind of worgan, its still a similar situatuon.
I think this can be traced back to Garithos in some way, since it was his intention to wipe out all none humans, undead alike, but he as the one killed by the forsaken (well, demon really), and it steamed from there.

Plus, how much does Stormwind know about the Worgen threat after all? It seems like, because of Onyxia and her little power play before Varian returned, Redridge, Westfall and Duskwood were left to their own devices. Plus doing the quests for the Night Watch in Darkshire, your suppose to be 'wiping' out most of the problem.
Of course, and this is the big thing here, it's not Varian who has first contact with the Gilneans, it's the Night Elves.... so it could be because our resident xenophobs decide to be friends with the wolf people, the rest of the Alliance is following suit.

I agree. People say things about The alliance being smooth in the new expansion, and the horde is disarray. I have to disagree there.
The alliance just allied with a pack of rabid bloodthirsty savages. I love worgen, and I will most certainly make one. I do not, however, expect them to be welcome with open arms into the alliance. I think a lot of quests will be about acceptance, and understanding. I think a lot of the alliance will think themselves higher then the worgen, and albeit the most kick ass race in the game, they will assuredly be the lower caste.
There is an old adage,
Keep your friends close,
but keep your enemies closer
.
Perhaps the alliance gained the worgen as an ally, lest they have to face them on the field of battle.
The forsaken have, for lack of a better term,
forsaken
the plague. They do not actively carry it, or the entire horde would be undead. This is obviously a misunderstanding. I can someone what agree with the op, the Alliance are seeming slightly hypocritical. Lets wipe from the earth these filthy GREEN savages, but keep our cute furry ones.

It's not been explicitly stated what drove the Forsaken and the Humans apart. Considering what a stone cold cow she is, Sylvanas probably took the whole Garithos thing and blew it out of all proportion to poison the Forsaken against Humanity, lest they get all weak at the knees.Doesn't help that the Prince of Lordaeron came in, killed her and slew the king of the High Elves... then blew up the Sunwell.
