I recently changed from Feral DPS to Tank..
What ive read its important to hit your target and dont get parried or dodged for the simple fact that hits on enemys builds threat.
The problem is that i have problem getting hit and expertise capped..
This is my armory:
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dentarg&n=Alpzan
As you can see i have a DPS trinket which i tend to change to another one with dodge rating as soon as i get enough emblems. so i will loose even more hit rating then.
I have followed colour theme of my gems to profit som stamina bonus if you wonder why i have orange gems.
Anyone got ideas of how i can improve my hit rating?
I think its hard to find druid gear with hit rating... But really how necessary is hit and expertise rating for a Druid tank? what should i aim for numbers?
Thanks!

Pre-naxx, you really do not need a whole lot of hit and expertise. I think i started HCs with some fricking low hit, like 40, and a tiny bit higher expertise, like 20. In Naxx gear its not hard to get up to, dunno, 140 hit and 30 expertise. You do not really need neither unless you have hardcore dps...
And... umm dunno. Which stat that you can find on a Leather equipment is "necessary" for a druid? :( Besides agility and stamina? :(

There is a nice tanking gear topic linked in the sticky.

Ok, so i rather have to aim for expertise?
i am kinda worried that if i miss maybe 1-2 hits in a row, the dps'ers will take aggro, and in worst case scenario, since im not hit capped, my growl may also miss.. and so on.
My question actually goes to Raid situations, Naxx normal for example.

I know someone would give me that advice :) i have already checked that one out and it refers to PRE heroics and Heroic gear.. i have as you can see Full T7 and are pretty much done with HC's..
But if i have missed some other section with Raid gear pls link it.
Thanks for advice.

Not really "aim" for expertise... it just comes in as you get stuff... the T7 legs and chest for example. Items that have both Hit and Expertise on them are the best by the way.
If you are afraid of your Growl missing, get the glyph of growl. It gives your taunt a 100% chance to succeed.
The tanking ring from HC DTK is better than your dps ring. Signet of the pregnant fortress is also pretty good, Emblems of Valor ring.
The Essence of Gossamer from Azjol is better than the nexus dps trinket.
The epic belt from Utgarde Keep is better than the crafted one.
I think the blue wrists from the second boss of UK are also better than the reputation ones you have. Just a personal opinion here though.
Your sockets hum. Well dunno, i prefer to have stamina on each gem i use, pure in blue sockets, and a two-colored gem with stamina on it in the other sockets.
Anyway, from what you say it kinda sounds like you are just making concerns about your threat generation before you actualy got some serious experience with it. Bears threat gen is pretty good imho, i never had any trouble with aggro in Naxx. Threat generation and tanking starts to be a little harder now in Ulduar though, when people pull over 6k dps and have a class that doesnt have the best threat reduction tools...
Oh and General Vezax is a *!@#$ to tank for druids...

Long story short, 6% hit and 10% expertise are decent values which you should consider as minimal for good performance as Bear Tank.
As a guideline, here's my tanking gear list:
CLICK
7.81% hit and 11.5% expertise. Also close to 41% dodge / 37.5K HP self buffed with MotW in Bear Form.

? I believe it's easier for a druid than for say a pally. When he casts surge of darkness, all I do is make a 180° turn and shift to kitty form. I stay out of his range untill surge runs out and I go back to bear.
You could also have a holy priest with the
body and soul
talent, then you don't even have to shift.

@LookOut: His aura reduces your melee attack speed by a hefty sum. That means way less Maul, which is the best threat generator for a feral druid. Your TPS can pretty easilly go from 7500 to 5500. On the other hand, the casters get the insane dps buff, which can easilly increase their TPS from 5000 to 10000. Yeah Surge of Darkness is not so bad with a druid tank, but holding aggro is.

I ran some heroics this weekend to test with 4% hit rating and 9% expertise..
On trash mobs i had no problem holding aggro, but on bosses i had some minor difficulties, if i missed 1 or 2 hits or got parried, the dps'er took over aggro (doing 3500-4000 dps). Growl ofcourse took this aggro back.
So i guess i should follow your advice on 6% hit and 10% expertise rating. :)
I heroics its not a big deal, but i probably need stack more hit and expertise in naxx, and especially in Ulduar (when my gear is qualified).
Thanks everybody for all the advices..
and i must say, so far i really like the bear tanking role :)

Kazimodo, stam stacking is the thing that keeps you alive when you tank Steelbreaker, Brundir, and Molgeim all at once :P Good enough for me. Agility becomes kind of a waste after 37% dodge, as squig said. The only agility you get after 37% should be from armor upgrades, not sockets. You will still have plenty of dodge. Expertise is a great stat for tanking, and tanks without Primal Precision fail. Having only a single point in Infected Wounds is a waste, because pretty much anyone is gonna rewrite the debuff with their stronger version. Even frost DK dps. The gems you are referring to are
+8 dodge rating and +12 stamina
. Those are pretty bad, inferior to
these
.
