The hosting on my site has lapsed and I do not have the money at the moment to renew. So with this information unfortunately I am unable to work on and test the script, as I edit the script remotely.
Any financial help you can offer would be greatly appreciated to bring the script's home back. I accept PayPal donations via the e-mail address fadetoaj@yahoo.com.
I would really like to get back to work on the script as soon as possible, and am looking into every avenue to go about getting the money to get my site back online. Currently my hosting is $88 per year.
Thanks, and I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holidays.

EDIT
I was able to scrounge $11 to make the initial payment on my hosting, so I am hoping that the site will be brought back online within the next couple of hours. Again, my apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Hey there... I'm guessing your plugin is licensed as GPL (as that's pretty much what phpBB forces plugins to be) so perhaps you could check out Sourceforge?

Wow, dude. I have been eager to see how you went around building this plugin, and having now seen it, that's some good work. I'm personally waiting to see if they improve/expand the XML interface before I add all the spells and abilities and stuff to my own project... I bow before your superior patience and zen of preg! :P

Yep GPL v3. The reason I have my site hosting the script is primarily because of the ease of uploading everything. I edit the script remotely via FTP on my site (using PHPEdit) so all I have to do is compress everything and I'm good to go.

Lol preg is most likely my achilies heel when it comes to PHP. It was just
A LOT
of trial and error (mostly error). Its still not a perfect method to get everything, some spells/quests/achievements get through, but version 3 will hopefully fix any of these issues.

My apologies for the lack of updates on the script lately. I have decided to implement AJAX into the script to improve loading times and make things run smoothly. Also, as per user request, I am going to write a Joomla and SMF implementation of version 3 of the script.
I am not exactly sure when version 3 will be ready, but I want to make sure that everything is working properly before I release it.
Thanks for your patience, guys.

Woot!
Thank you, thank you. Look forward to it. :)
I notice you mention not to use with 'tooltips', could you be more specific? Several different ones out there.
Using other tooltip scripts, for example ItemStats, can cause conflicts. It will display 2 tooltips, which is entirely unnecessary. Generally, these scripts don't play nice with each other. This only applies to scripts that generate tooltips or work similarly to my script.

Ahh, ok.
This is who sent ya the email about SMF btw. :)
Was wondering because I use another tooltip script for LotRO.
That shouldn't cause any issues as long as it doesn't use the bbcode tags that my script uses.

Okay so, another update. I have decided that using AJAX would be unnecessary. AJAX would be perfect if my script generated its own tooltips, but I have no intention of doing so. Besides, correct me if I'm wrong Wowhead devs, but Wowhead's 'power.js' file uses AJAX to create the tooltips w/o having to (re)load the page.
Joomla and SMF integration are still a go though.
Unfortunately, I still have a long ways to go.

Any plans on also including Drupal support (most likely 5.x series as even the Drupal Developers use it over 6.x)
I don't want to make any promises, but I will see what I can do.
I am still working on the backend of the script, more specifically the item cache class to handle the caching of the objects, as in version 3 the item cache will be required. After that I can work on the parsers for each object.
EDIT
I've been working on this for about 4 hours or so, and got quite a bit of work done. The item, itemico, and spell tags now work correctly. Also the cache class is completed and functioning as intended, and I wrote a class to handle the patterns for each object and they will be loaded from a file like I did previously. I used the same method that phpBB uses to load things so it should work regardless of the platform (I think that's why they didn't work for everyone in previous versions). I still have achievements, quests, itemsets, and craftables left to go. Achievements and quests won't take too long, but itemsets and craftables will be fun, lol.
