"Thou knowest of me? The honour is great indeed to be recognized by a memeber of the holy orders. Lead on SIrrah!" Gunter barked loudly.

"Wilhelm Meyer, I presume?" asked loudly as the human approached. "Welcome to Jaedenar."

"I'll

Shadowheart Disciples
(

Location: Scarlet Monostary, Tirisfal Glades
Amanda moved the water lord infront of her with a dark spell, the fireballs hitting and destroying it. Plaguemoore fell from the blow with a crack echoing throughout the halls, but stood back up quickly and turned on Fordring. He began to deliver the same sweepign overhand and underhand blows that he had used against Markoth. Hannah assisted him, another batch of souls clinging to the paladin's body and trying to hold his arms back to prevent him from deffending himself.

Wilhelm turned his head at the stranger and raised a hand in a lazy wave.
"Yep, 's me. And you are mister Eye?"

Curho Demoneye

"Curho Demoneye," Curho answered. "Warlock of the Burning Blade."
A felhunter jumped from the brush and tackled Meyer, its tendrils attaching to the warlock and draining the residual energy that tied him to the circle he had created in his home before he could react. After that it stopped, making little difference whether or not Wilhelm knocked the demon-beast aside.

Lukuun' victim let out a satisfied growl and stood up, grabbing the hound by the throat. In mere seconds, the illusion on it dissipated.
"Good job, Arc'Arahm," came a lazy voice from where the cloud had dissipated. Wilhelm - this time, the real one - stepped out of the shadows.
"
Basra vashedan,
" the felguard growled hostilely.
"
Parshaara
, my demon," Wilhelm raised his voice ever so slightly. His minion shrugged and tossed Lukuun aside.
"
Shanedan

Curho chuckled. "Clever," he said, clapping. "I knew you were the right warlock to assist me." He looked around. "You never happened to see another on your way here, did you?"

"Negative," Wilhelm replied, his pale face - whichever small part of it could be seen behind the overcoat's collar and the hat - an example of mild, polite interest.
"Any chances I can work for you without somebody trying to harass me, coerce me, force me into your flock, rip out my soul or rape me?" he asked casually, studying the fingers on his right hand.

"The attack was an attempt to ensure you did not flee with the whole of my newest prized possession," Curho informed the other. "You should make more of an attempt to conceal your spells. As I have no other way of trusting you, you will be monitored closely while with the book. To answer your question more directly; not from me, at least."

Wilhelm brushed nonexistent dust off his overcoat and shifted his attention to his left hand.
"I'm afraid you're mistaking me for a wrong person, mister Demoneye. To wit, one without meaning or understanding. I come to your place, to the brim filled with whatever you have at your disposal, with nothing to protect me - and you seriously expect me to be daft enough to try and run for it with your grimoire, while at the same time possessing the skill, the patience and the state of mind to work on it?
But enough of this
maraas imekari
. Shall we get to business?"
The human raised his head finally, his mismatched eyes fixed on Curho. The white one was cold, calculating and alien, while amusement and mischief sparkled in the amber one.

Wilhelm rolled his neck with slight yet audible creaking as the vertebrae of his scoliosis-bent spine rubbed against one another, and proceeded inside. Arc'Arahm threw Lukuun a glare that could be described in many ways, half of them synonymic with 'hungry' - and I mean literal hunger there - before following his master.
"For the record, I'd feel offended if the book required a soul to sacrifice in order to be opened, unless, of course, you have a willing lamb prepared," Meyer stated.

"Haha! You flatter me kind sir but the light doth not contact me overtly. What thoust see is from the Libram to which I carry. However I will take this opportunity to bask in prayer and let the Light shine upon me in its glorious golden glow, if just in passing." Gunter informed the paladin before taking a spot at a nearby pew. Bowing his head, Gunter clasped his hands together and began to pray.
Very, very loudly.
"Oh Light!" Gunter loudly bellowed in the chapel making many of the other parishioners jump in surprise. "Please grant thine blessing to this unworthy vessel. But shouldst thou find it in thine infinite wisdom to refuse then I shall accept it faithfully. Let this world feel thine blessing, and continue to shine over it protectively, Amen."
Gunter was silent a moment as if listening for an answer, though there was none forthcoming. A few moments later the man leapt to his feet, thrusting his arms beseechingly to the ceiling. "I understand oh Light! Thou wisheth me to continue my efforts in your name till I ma found worthy. Huzzah I say for thine wisdom! Huzzah!" Gunter shouted before turning and heading back to the dwarf paladin.
"A fine prayer. I thanketh thou for permitting me to use thine chapel. Many will nay longer permit me to pray within after the first visit for inexplicable reasons that the Light in its all knowing wisdom has yet to share. Bwahahaha!"

"Alright," Wilhelm shrugged, idly turning his head around as he walked. Naturally, the human was perfectly aware that he had no way to say if Curho was telling the truth - not now, anyway - but the small talk had deeper running purposes than one could expect.

Shields of Light formed, blocking the flames from going too far. Several balls of demonic shadow then began to fly at the living, as well as simple Forgotten Shadow spells. Hansle, Maria, and Salvia had come to regroup with the others, alerted to the current situation by the two ghosts Hannah had sent to inform them.
Plaguemoore was stuck within the icy wall, but it slowly began to crack as his unholy-fulled rotten muscles strained to break free of it. Hannah's spirits also continued to attack the living. Amanda merely watched the scene, seeing no need to step in herself at the moment.

Armen heard the movement, but did not concern himself with it. She was alive, that was all that mattered. She was not his concern and whatever she did next was her buisness.

"Of course," Tommy nodded. He would not mind drinking himself into a stupor, but even he knew when enough was enough.

Scarlet Monastery, Cathedral
"Should we aid them sir?" One of the Weiss's asked Ludwig. The musician merely propped his head in his rotted hand, examining the scene thoughtfully.
"Perhaps, but which side?" He mused aloud. With a shrug he drew a small crossbow and casually shot the bolt into the ground before Hansel, Maria and Salvia in warning.
"Do not interfere, nothing worse than audience charging the stage in the middle of a performance." He warned casually.
