Selin Fireheart
- Drain life, nuff said.
Vexallus
- You will never make it though the heavy magic damage and the adds.
Priestess Delrissa
- Annoying heals and bubbles, plus they do pretty good CC single target.
Kael'thas Sunstrider
- This fight will last a bit too long and eventually you will die.
I am assuming you are prot or fury in prot gear.
Kael and Selin are the only bosses you will be able to down if you can put out the damage.
I was able to solo everything in heroic MgT EXCEPT for Kael'thas. I died 3 times, all to trash, and all because I was impatient and didn't sit and eat back to full health.
The Kael'thas fight I attempted about 3 or 4 times. It was a combination of taking too much damage and not being able to deal enough damage to get to phase 2 before the pyroblast. Between the fireball interrupts and then the AoE damage of the Pheonix, it just wasn't doable for me. Ended up pulling a healer in and the two of us easily downed him afterward.
The other bosses were not hard. First boss was a straight burn and died easily. Second boss, kill the spark adds for the damage boost and he starts to drop fast (though I think I was pretty close to dying on that fight). Trash to third boss (the big packs) sucked; don't underestimate the damage output of those guys, don't let the casters unload on you. Third boss (5v1 Arena) wasn't bad at all actually. The damage output of those guys is pretty weak. You have a lot of stuns and interrupts (and mobility), I wasn't even close to dying on this fight.

Okay, just ran it again. Did the whole thing in my "unhittable" set, which is 95% miss/dodge/parry/block.
First boss: the full charged AoE only does about 800 each time. The life drain ticks for like 1600 but you can interrupt it. He did about 20k damage to me overall, I was never in danger of dying.
Second boss trash: Room full of wyrms, just pulled it all at once. Did about 7k total damage as I TCed and Shockwaved them down.
Second boss: After first three waves of sparks I was getting pretty low on health, so shield walled, last stand, and enraged regen. Ignored the remaining add spawns and nuked boss. Killed him before the last stand wore off, had about 7k last-standed health left.
Third boss trash: Died once in the first room because I rushed it and didn't pull correctly. Died a second time because I thought I would be okay and didn't blow a cooldown, then a warlock owned me. Otherwise it was fine. Blood Knight, Warlock, Magister kill order.
Third boss: Killed Delrissa first. Unfortunately she got off a few lucky heals on low health. I was down to about 40% health when she finally died, but at that point the fight was easy. Picked off the little guys. I did blow all three of my cooldowns and ended the fight with about 4k health.
Kael'Thas fight: The pyroblast still hits for 45k, so you really must DPS him before he casts the Pyroblast. Fireballs hit for around 5k. The melee hits from Pheonix and Kael are only in the 500-1000 area. Phoenix burn is around 1500.
So I put about 6 attempts in. Made it to phase 2 twice, but both times I had a phoenix up. If you can manage to make it to phase 2 with the phoenix dead, you should be able to solo it. I just got tired of running back over and over, I just picked up a shaman to come assist me and finish it off.

Being level 80, the spells will already be resisted quite often. The second boss is all arcane damage, so even if you had just the neck piece from KZ that would help a bit.
I ditched all my fire resist gear a long time ago, but if you had all the level 80 fire resistance gear still, I think Kael'Thas would be a joke. Your other level 80 slots would be more than enough to keep your damage up, and the resist would drop your damage taken to a trivial amount.

thanks folks!
i have tried it yesterday after i made the post. tried as a Prot warrior with about 27k hp, my tanking gear is a mix of 10 man gear (some pieces from ulduar) and about 3 blue pieces as i am mainly a dps warrior.
managed to take down the first boss quiet easily actually i never expected him to be much of a bother since he hit very low. on 2nd boss i didnt give much attempts to it as it was late night but managed to get him to about 30% or so but mind you, i was sleepy so didnt take on much adds and the incoming damage was huge (could barely see them!) but since he is done by other fellow warriors already, i will give it a try asap.
but is there a stat recommendation to it? as my hp is rather low i think. and would the scryer arcane resistance plate set helps maybe?
i got the old level 70 fire resistance set i could try it vs kael and see how it goes.
btw i usually do it with a healer friend, its just he is abit busy in RL and i have plenty of time to waste :p hehe.
thanks again,
azra
btw, you don't a real healer. i ran this with a moonkin buddy and every fight was trivial. just having 1 dps pretty much negates the need to ever get a heal.

Yes and No, first 3 bosses are simple as a prot warrior, use enraged Regeneration and last stand when low on health, on boss 2 get your enraged regeneration, sield wall, and last stand CDs down.
Boss 3 same as last 2 just use spell reflection, enraged regeneration, Shield Wall and last Stand whenever you can, Kael don't even atempt, you WILL die with out heals.
