Powered by Wowhead - Achievement Customization?

I had a simple question. I went to the Powered by Wowhead example page and was delighted to see you could customize item links with rel="..." to add gems, enchants, set bonuses, etc. Is there a current way to do a similar thing for achievements to add a completion line and/or highlighting of individual requirements in the achievements? Perhaps I haven't looked enough, but I haven't been able to find much documentation on the system in general.

He's talking about the tooltip showing partial completion of the achievement, not creating new ones. Still, I don't think this functionality exists.

I'm not talking about in game tooltips, if that's what you were referring to. I'm building a guild progress bit for our website's front page, and I'd like to include the date in the tooltip when you mouse over it. It shouldn't be hard to manually change it with javascript if it isn't possible.

They're working on it, but for some reason are stuck on making a "completed" tooltip from the &power data and making/using sprintf on it. You can see it in the code, they're using &who=Toonname&when=jsDate as their parameters. (Although, at this writing, using those params will fail to show any tooltip.)
Send me an email, or look around my sites, and you can find the modified script I use that has working &who=&when= parameters.

Thanks a ton for your help. I haven't spent too much time trying to navigate the javascript code, since reading the shortened variables gets confusing. I see exactly what you're talking about on your site, and this should be enough information to help me set up a similar system. I was thinking of the possibility of hooking into the display function so that you can use the regularly-updated .js file from their site instead of locally hosting it. Overall though I must say your site is very well done and is a great point of inspiration.

I love when a plan comes together.

Here is the finished product:

(top left).
I ended up not being able to hook because I couldn't penetrate the scope, if it's even possible. I edited the power.js file, and to my surprise, it was a lot less work than I imagined.
Simply, since there is no sprintf in javascript I used string concatenation. I also changed "when" to be stored as a string, since it's easier to type pre-formatted dates than getting the timestamp. Then I had to add "/" to the regex that matches the rel tag, so that my date of "mm/dd/yy" would be recognized as a valid string. I also ended up removing the Criteria section, since Wowhead (or the cache data) seems to have a few
weird
entries
, although it was cool how they automatically turned green when you provided a "when" and "who". So yeah, it looks as if they came rather close to fully implementing this.
