this
it's about class balance. warlock damage is great. if they made all DoTs tick then we'd have to take a nerf elsewhere. i don't see the point in another 'grass is greener' post.

I'd complain if I wasn't beating our shadow priests with hundreds of thousands damage done on most boss encounters. It's a balance issue.

Ive tried to compare like spells but honestly, we are 2 different classes, different spells, different mechanics. Anyway, locks dps > spriest dps. :P

well idk really, i need to know what type of lock is better cause for dungeons the best is a destro lock for the aoe, but i see on the forums that for raid is better an affliction lock, idk whitch one of them is better can u tell me what u think?
and another thing, maybe the dude here is right cause if u see all SP have a lot of dots can make critic and now i know why those ... make a lot of damage, i had seen SP making 7k of dps and that is a great diference about the locks, if u see one lock of affliction cant make more 3k of dps.
maybe blizzard need fixed that or make the lock of affliction spect more powerfull, idk guys really i think the locks need fixed on affliction spect.
i gona be waiting an answer on my question. and i hope u have a nice day :D

I don't worry about the number of dots.
Idk why our Channeled Spells don´t crit and SP's channeled spells does?
maybe a reduced effect to drain soul (yeah 30k drain soul tick isn't funny or fair) maybe 22k around when it crits.

Because lets imagine a shadow priest as it is now, and a warlock as it is now are both equally geared and they are both doing 5000 DPS.
If a lock suddenly were able to crit with ALL their dots and channeled spells, the SPriest would still only be doing 5000 DPS and the Lock would shoot up at a very much more higher number.
This is your answer, stop QQing about it. >_>
