You can get a destro or haunt warlock and do well with a shadow priest(Haunt might be better). It's hard to say what would counter it well. The bad part about it is you will go on DR really fast since Fear is the majority if not all of your CC.
Priest/UD rogue would probably be a tough team to handle with this.

The other issue I see with a comp like this is that one of you is going to get absolutely destroyed right off the bat if you're playing a double dps team. Just as an example, let's go with my current comp against yours (Rog/War). Basically how the fight would go is like this:
SPriest gets sapped
Warlock gets cheap shotted
Rogue pops cloak the second he's out of stealth, resists the first seduce if it's cast on him. If seduce is on the warrior, the warrior will trinket and charge your pet, likely three shotting it
If Warlock trinkets cheap shot, he'll get caught in the kidney shot. If he waits to trinket the kidney shot, he'll be dead.
If the priest trinkets sap, he'll immediately be blinded. If the priest waits for sap to wear off, the warlock will be dead.
As you can see, the issue with your comp is you're VERY susceptible to CC. You don't have any CC breaks outside of your trinket, which makes you very easy to control.

Well i still have dispersion to use.
and anyway before rogue gets to me i have the chance to dot you which will get me in combat, well if i dont just badluck ;/
but thanks for writing back.
That's not going to save you when your warlock is the one that gets railed first :P (Blind and sap aren't snares)

i am not experienced with arena but
would a mage be a better than a warlock as partner since he can frost nova and sheep?

I keep hearing someone saying, "rogues are going to kick your azz!"
That sounds about right.... The CC d#@ch bags will kill your team. Dual mage will probably be pretty horrible too. You DO have a chance against dps/healer teams tho thru dispells, CC, and silences.
Does it have counters? You betcha.
Can you do descently with it? Of course.
Will you get 2200+ rating? Probably not, but it'll be a fun challenge trying.
You can viably get to 1850 I'm pretty sure, so just work at it, and have fun. Remember that you may have to do some serious off healing in a lot of games.
What Wanderingfox is saying is, "Clothie eaters will kick your teams butt." This includes warriors, feral druids, and rogues. But, that doesn't mean they will beat you every time. Learn, and be flexible. Otherwise, just try to kick the other teams butt by putting out too much dps.

Yes, a frost mage, ret pally, or a rogue would easily compliment either of the two members of a shadow priest/warlock team better than the two compliment eachother.

Mage/Rogue will murder that team. Assuming the Warlock isn't Destro. Then we have a problem.
Even as destro your rogue should be smart enough to blow the warlock up first. Popping cloak on the opener on a destro lock is pretty much signing the lock's death certificate.
