Stick with this one for leveling. In the new expansion, hit rating and expertise are one of the most important stats, especially for arms, since we rely on big hits. So, speccing strength of arms and weapon mastery is very important for lvling.
The glyphs are for lvling, with charge, but are ok for dps as well, throw on a execute for increased dps for raids when you hit 80. The minors, there arent that many to choose from, so play around with them.
Rotation would be more of a priority based system. Rend (only if it not on, let it tick all the way), Sudden Death procs, Taste for blood procs, overpower procs, Mortal strike (if lots of rage), slam. Work in victory rush wherever you can.
The type of lvling I recommend is pulling two mobs of your lvl or whatever you can handle, pop sweeping strikes and pew pew. Or you can go for 4 mobs below your lvl and bladestorm,
As you lvl, I would put points into booming voice, then piercing howl, then improved mortal strike, the rest can go into whatever other warriors dont bring to the raid.

your rotation is right for prot
I would not say that that's the right prot rotation.
As Buttery says it's more of a priority system now.
I use (unlimited rage situation):
Shield Slam > Shockwave > Concussion Blow > Revenge/hs (got them macroed) > Devestate
And of course refresh rend/thunderclap/demo shout whenever it's needed.
That's mostly for boss fights.
I leveled myself from 60 to 80 as prot and it was a walk in the park.
Usually I just ran around spamming demo shout until I had 5-10 mobs on me.
Spamming Shockwave > Thunderclap > Shield Slam > cleave (glyph of cleave is awesome for leveling).
As for other glyphs I use:
Glyph of blocking (must have) and Glyph of Revenge (free heroic strikes after revenge, hence the Revenge/Hs macro)
As for arms I have nothing to add except that you should pick up Glyph of Sweeping strikes, no rage cost.
Oh, minor glyphs.
The only ones I find usefull while leveling (or at all really..) are
Glyph of Bloodrage (no health cost)
Glyph of Charge (+5y range)
And Glyph of battle (1min longer bs) wich should be changed to affect Com Shout aswell imo.

I am sorry but that just forces me to disagree. There is no such thing as free heroic strike. HS is one of the most costly rage per damage/threat move to perform. Dropping 9 rage from it each 6 seconds is by no means making it free. Going to quote myself from other thread for this:
The skill has
two
costs. First taken out of rage pool in the moment highlighting the skill, second is the potential rage income of your next swing, which is applied in the moment of swing. Glyph of Revenge takes out only the first cost (being 9 is specced into Imp HS and Focused Rage), while the second one stays untouched. The actual amount of rage lost depends on the speed and dps of your melee weapon, also if it crits you cant really say that it crits only because of the 15% crit rate bonus, the white hit could crit too and therefore provide more rage income which is lost due to appling heroic strike at this swing.
What Glyph of Heroic strike does is it partly restores this rage on crit which would be otherwise lost.
Also guys please.
Forget about Rend in protection
It may be good for killing Rogues in the arena but for PvE tanking its a waste of GCD.

Agreed. I know exactly what you mean.
At least it's a cheaper heroic strike :)
And in a unlimited rage situation i tend to spam hs all the time.
And btw ? Why forget about rend ?
You really don't have many choises to spend your GCD on.
Ofcourse the devestate spam, but imo rend is well worth one GCD and one devestate.
I'm gonna try and do some testing next raid.

I get that Glyph of Revenge thing about the HS not being actually free, but I still find it useful for solo encounters, as I never have any rage issues in instances.
You mean for single target tanking? If rage is not an issue whats the point of glyphing with rage reducing glyph? Kind of mediocre imo as well. I mean 9 rage every 6s? You get more from Improved Charge. You shouldnt ever use Heroic Strike in grinding, unless its just for fun or you just flowing with rage, but still if you do whats the point of glyphing revenge?
I have Glyph of Blocking and Glyph of Cleaving in my tanking spec, as the third slot isn't unlocked yet.
Blocking is a must in any tanking spec. Cleave is imo better than Revenge because it actually enhances your aoe TPS while reducing the "per-target" Cleave rage cost below any costs of Heroic strike glyphed or not (17 rage per two targets unglyphed -> 8.5 rage per 1 target, glyphed 17 rage per 3 targets ->6.33 rage per target).
Okay, I'm kind of getting used to the Arms spec, but I'm not using Slam in my rotation. I kind of get off with Overpower and Execute procs, and Mortal Strike whenever it's up. I kind of messed up on the talents, though, as I specced in Impr. Slam, since I thought it would be useful. I'm not using any weapon specialization, since I know I'll be switching weapons while I'm on my way to getting to 80. Right now I'm using a 2h sword, but the Sword spec isn't really that appealing, I much rather go with Poleaxe then.
Mortal strike is much less usefull in damage per rage ratio. Its more like an omg button, omg in terms of rage. 30 Rage on instant attack is a serious rage dump. SInce you are specced into it anyway you should try using slam in between cooldowns instead of MS. Using MS only when you getting close to 100 Rage (Blade Storm will build your rage as well so its wise to dump as much rage before doing it and dump rage just after it, which means ms shoould be used right before it and right after it).
Also, when tanking, I don't use HS that often, I just spam Cleave while switching between targets, spamming Devastate, Shield Slam and Revenge whenever those are available. Constantly spamming Thunder Clap for the extra threat, not waiting for it to wear off.
You shouldnt by no means use HS on more than single target, due to rage costs per target i posted above. HS is usually meant for boss encounters, but i am aware than a lot of boss encounters involve some kind of multitargetting.
Also, whom should I put Vigilance on? I tanked Nexus yesterday, and the healer was shocked to see I put it on him instead of the mage that was in our group.
It is totally your call. It has two features Threat & Survivability. If you dont have Threat problems you can even put it on Rogue afking outside the instance. Basically if you use Omen you should observe who is doing most agro and whether aoe heavy classes use their aoes, put it on them.
Edit: I also don't see the point of speccing in Booming Voice, as I never forget to refresh my shouts.
Tier 2 in Fury tree is so much unupdated bs its not worth putting a single point in there. Booming Voice is only natural alternative. Also if you glyph for Battle shout you'll get 5min duration Battle shout, which is nice. Its not about forgetting or not forgetting. If it drops while the fight is on you are wasting a precious GCD on it.
Piercing Howl sounds appealing, but with me it's usually like this: if I am destined (heh) to die, there's not point in running, I just try to down as many mobs as I can so I can retaliate as soon as I rez. I tend to avoid possible bad pulls, though, so it doesn't happen very often.
Its a PvP move or aoe tanking control move. No point in using it in Arms pve tree.
Edit 2: Also, macros. I need *all* of the must-have macros for both Arms and Prot. I don't mean to sound rude or lazy, so excuse me if I do. I just want it all compiled in one place, instead of digging through different topics, where people tend to argue about what is and what is not necessary.
