So here is my question:
My current druid is geared in Moonkin Dps from Kara and a little from Gruul's, and I plan to begin healing with him. The gear he is
currently wearing
, is it fine to heal Utgarde and Nexus? The reason I ask is because his gear is mighty low on spirit and has more spell hit than a healer EVER needs. I also feel like my bonus healing is low as well. But if specc'd resto can he pull it off?
Thanks,
Ell

Tweaked your specs.

for 72 and

* for 80.
Traditional healer at 80 looks like this:

Imp Tranq is really useful for instancing (not so much for endgame raiding, because it only affects your party). Your SP is fine, all you need to heal at your level is a good mana pool and SP, which you got as a boomkin in BC. Healing in WoW has also been changed, the healing stat and BSD stats have morphed into the same stat (spellpower or SP) and heals were buffed with the change. SP = heals and BSD now.
(to Druid) Tranquil Spirit is a waste of points for the most part. If you have to cast HT or Tranq enough to cause mana issues, then something is wrong. Your HoTs should be ticking for high enough to keep the tank up. By the time you get to 80, you still shouldn't need it, even though it affects Nourish as well.
(to OP) Natural Perfection is a PvP talent. You really shouldn't be getting hit in PvE. The static crit is also pretty worthless, it won't affect much of your healing spells.
*Traditional gives Replenishment (raid utility) and tweaked gives static spell haste.
