Which seriously ticked me the hell off. I started wotlk raiding, got 450 tailoring. Dropped it a week later to start leveling JCing, and then wham, suddenly tailoring becomes good again.

tailoring is only good because of the cloak enchants.. and making bags is helpful when you have an alt.
anything past that is a joke. none of the BoE patterns you can make for tailoring that i've seen is worth a flip. granted, i haven't looked at the newest of the tailoring patterns. the deathchill cloak is a ridiculous epic that will get replaced in early naxx gear and the other cloak that tailors make (the name of which escapes me) is also just about as bad.
they're good for the minute you ding 80.. not much else.

Would the same be true for PvP? I haven't gotten rid of mining yet on my main, and was debating Tailoring vs. Enchanting. We've already covered one major pro/con in that you can make way more money on a main with Enchanting. And usually in PvP, you want gear and abilities that are consistent; unless you're ^&*!ty and like to win 1/10 duels on procs. Nevertheless, sometimes the unpredictability of burst damage can work for you, not against you (especially against healers, I'm thinking I wouldn't mind a lucky break once in a while).
So I was curious what other PvPer's thought: would you rather have the unpredictable burst damage from the Tailoring or the reliable stat padding from Enchanting?

Incidentally, the PvP guide needs a little profs section or just a footnote that says "Get Engineering".
i'll be sure to add that in there in my next update..
