Just Hit 80; Advice?

So, feel free to laugh at me, but after three and a half years of playing, I've finally managed to stick with
one character
long enough to hit 80. Darn Altitis! :P
Anyway, I was hoping for advice on gear and/or talents. I'm probably not going to be able to raid much, if at all, and the same applies to heroics as I've promised my gf that we'd do that sort of thing together, and with us both working, time is an issue. As such, I've been looking into PvP (as you may be able to glean from my gear :P) so advice on how to slip into battlegrounds without getting faceraped by people in arena and other top-end gear would be great.
At the moment I'm farming to try to earn some money for epic flying + dual spec, so please keep my poorness in mind if your advice is to buy some BoE epics :P

I was going to direct you straight to the stickies since we get a topic like this....17 times a day, but then you stated a pvp aspect. I'm pretty sure we don't have a stickie for that...
Anyway, do every single Wintergrasp that you can so you can purchase the very good starting pvp gear/trinkets, etc.
Other then that, honor farm AV/AB/Strands or maybe EotS if you want. I wouldn't do WSG or EotS personally at your gear lvl since you'd get face pwned by a hunter's pet solo.

Pfft, within arenas, I faceroll dk/healer combos hardcore. My shammy healer 2's partner and I as an aff lock just destroy any dk that gets in our way. It's those effing disc priests/rogues or arms war/healer that annoy the hell out of us.

Done a little bit of research, and I've given myself these sorts of goals stat-wise (in no particular order):
~820 Resilience: Critted a lot less, and much less crit and DoT damage.
105 Hit Rating: Hit cap for lvl 80 targets (i.e. other players :P)
20k+ health: Nearly there at the moment, as I upgrade to epics it should come naturally.
Spellpower: as much as I can get :P
I'm not sure what to aim for Crit and Haste rating wise; any advice on a target, or should I just grab what I can while going for the concrete targets?
