Ret PvE.. serious rotation or serious "faceroll"?

So, I had leveled from outlands to lvl 71 as holy, and taken a long hiatus from my pally to play my mage some more. After picking my paladin back up (with talent points reset thanks to patch 3.1) I decided to give it a try going ret to make the levelling to 80 go quicker. My question is this... in dungeons, is there any serious actual rotation for good DPS? Or is it more similar to enhancement shamans in which there is just a priority for your CDs?
I did a couple dungeons earlier today and I topped the DPS once (by a pretty significant margin) and came in a really close 2nd (with a 74 warlock whereas i'm lvl 71)... the other time using the faceroll method.. and my gear is absolute garbage...if there's an actual rotation (or a priority sequence) could anyone bother to help out here?

'Face roll' is when you don't know how to play your class so you just use random spells without thought for a good rotation.
'First come first serve' is exactly the same thing, only your class doesn't have a set rotation, so that now it's a good thing instead of a bad thing.
Retribution uses a FCFS rotation.

Ehm.... Face roll is definately not what you described it to be.

That's facerolling.
As for the OP:
Yea it's like playing a shaman. Use a FCFS priority system.
Sure you could design a rotation but it would be like 5 minutes long i think.

@pezz & @svirve, thanks for the info. just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything i could do to... -snicker- increase my DPS.
basically, i'll open with a judgement, then cast my longer CDs (divine storm/exorcism) and then crusader strike.. after that i'll just do whatever the hell clicks next on my screen saying it's ready.
BTW.. thanks for the vid.. i got a good laugh out of that.

Realized i forgot to mention this earlier ;p
The FCFS priority:
3.1 clash resolution is as follows: CS > HoW > Judgement > DS > Consecration > Exorcism > Holy Wrath
Straight from EJ.

Well, my paladin is currently level 77 and i hope to be level 80 real soon.
My rotation is as follows:
Judgement - Crusader Strike - Exorcism - Divine Storm - Flash of Light (if needed)
My current glyphs are: Judgement, Seal of Blood, Blessing of Might, Wisdom and Kings (so i can choose which one to use when i feel like it. lol)
That rotation works for me and i can get more dps then what my feral druid did when it first entered naxx.
I use Seal of the Martyr as my only seal to use and use Judgement of Light, with Judgements of the Wise, i never need to use Judgement of Wisdom for soloing, only when i am in a group that has a healer pally and/or a tanker pally and we just make a choice in a chat to see who will use what.
Also, i have never, EVER missed when i have used Exorcism, i admit i do miss now and then, but its never with Exorcism

I just smash all my 6 buttons with both hands during all of the boss fight.
I do enough DPS to be on a higher position on the meters.
Pallys are awesome.
