The only people that dont like contact sports are overprotective parents and fat kids.
Why?
Try knocking down a fat guy, it's hard, and you have to watch out that he/she doesn't fall on you.

@Vikey: Rihanna hasn't even been around long enough to be timeless.
Besides, shes a pop star.
Pop stars are rarely "timeless".
Pop changes every five seconds, making it very hard for an artist to stay trough it all.
Rock changes but the old things are always around.
Making it the most listened to and the best style of music since the invention of the piano.

Personally I think contact sports are great fun. However, I don't think PE classes should be in schools. Kids need to learn the mentality that those who are smarter and work hard will succeed, and those who aren't and don't will flip burgers. PE classes make the dumb brutes feel that being dumb and brutish is acceptable when its not at all.

This sentence made me so depressed I almost passed out.
To prevent that from happening again I'm going to sleep now.

There were a couple arguments here that PE builds teamwork and unity, which is a part of that mentality you seek.
The counterargument being that it's a controlled outlet for the people who aren't artistically inclined.
I have no idea what you mean by dumb brutes and being dumb and brutish, sports aren't for idiots, strategy, rules and improvisation all come into play in an organised sport event.

Sounds like someone wasn't so great at sports and is now taking it out on the "dumb brutes"
Well it that's what it sounds like, then I worded my post strangely. I was plenty fine at sports, but I had some fat friends who were smart, but had low self-esteem. That just seems wrong to me.

It would have been interesting to make friends with people with low self-esteem, anyways, they should have had counselling, not have you try to make an argument for why we should remove PE from our schools.
The truth of the matter is that there are more parents who don't know or care about physical well being than those who are.
The same can be said about other subjects, but all in all, you'll do more harm than good by taking away PE in schools.
edit: spelling

The point is that because of PE classes, most public schools have a backwards ass system where people are judged by their peers not by how intelligent they are, but how "tough" they are. And its honestly just stupid. There's a reason why smarter people enjoy college more, and dumber people enjoy public school more (I don't have specific numbers, but I think its fair to say that that is general knowledge).

Sounds like personal opinion to me.
I never had that happen in my school life.
Athletic people hung around athletic people, the smart students hung around the smart students.
To clarify: the people who were the most popular were the charismatic people, usually excelling both in school-work and athletics, neither or.

Honestly, if you're too fragile to play Dodgeball, get out of the Public School System.
That's relative to the person throwing the balls at you, imo.

sports programs should be cut before art programs (including music).
A well-played game of dodgeball with players who know the 5-D's well
is
a form of Art.
Honestly, if you're too fragile to play Dodgeball, get out of the Public School System.
Dumb in a post. You're required to get an education.

I'll never stop listening to her. I don't like rock, especially things like metallica and disturbed and all that
Reminds me of saying that I'd never stop listening to Toto when I was like 10 years old and that silly hard rock my elder brothers was playing was nothing but crap.
There is more to music than Rock and Pop
Hardly. Rock and Pop are the only genres in music, everything else is a sub-genre.
