I have no idea how film classification works but I know that my own decisions rely heavily on context. I personally don't really believe in "bad" language but the site filters some words and has rules about vulgarity.
The recent moderation action was certainly not in any sort of grey area.

That ME3 article you linked........... ye whoever wrote that was quite biased.
Just check out this bit:
It seems like a win-win to me. Releasing free DLC would show that they’re not greedy tyrants exploiting the concept of bonus content. Updating the ending with more substance would show that they can admit when they’re wrong, and fans would likely breathe a collective sigh of relief as they got some much needed resolution.
Will they do such a thing? I doubt it.
Admitting mistakes is one thing, but going back and reshooting the ending would show they dropped the ball to an incredible degree, something I highly doubt they’d own up to
.
then explain the Mass Effect: Deception bit please.
They charged an author to write a book, author SCREWED UP royally and wrote a piece of trash that takes canon continuity and pisses all over it. Its pretty much the "Shyalaman's Last Airbender" equivalent for Mass Effect.
Bioware issued an apology for what happened, pulled that blasphemous abomination from the stores, and promised a revised edition to be published soon.
Me, I think ME3 isn't nearly done. They did an expansion pack (Read: not DLC, EXPANSION PACK) for Dragon Age: Origins. That tied up any loose ends the original may have left, and did a good job of solidifying the Darkspawn story, and also released Witch Hunt that served to wrap up what happened to Morrigan.
If they could do that for Dragon Age, a (at the time) new franchise, why would they not do that to Mass Effect? their greatest, most famous, and most beloved franchise?
I do admit I'm more than upset about the ending, I even wrote this comment on the BSN
"If you really build a lot of stuff and bring people to your side and rally the entire galaxy around you, and you come into the end game with that, then you’ll get an amazing, very definitive ending" Casey Hudson's interview on PC Gamer last year.
Well mister Hudson, not to be disrespectful but its very clear you and I have VERY DIFFERENT definitions of what "Amazing Definite Ending" means.
but I still think the scorching foul bile being spewed about the game is grossly overblown to hell.
As I said before, all 3 Deus Ex have had crappy endings, and I still love those games. MGS2 had THE WORST ENDING EVER, and I still love that game. I judge games by the sum of its parts, and while 1 part of ME3 really REALLY sucks, the game as a whole is fantastic, and the best thing I've ever seen. The trilogy as a whole is FANTASTIC, and the best saga I've ever played.
Ending sucks? yes it does. Do I hope they change it? you bet I do. Do I feel the urging need to act like a brat and trow tantrums because the ending wasn't what I expected? hell to the no!.

That ME3 article you linked........... ye whoever wrote that was quite biased.
And you aren't? You missed the entire point of the article too, it seems.
nah I didn't. I just stopped taking it seriously after that bit. Saying that bioware would never apologize and change things because it would be admitting that they drop the ball shows they dont know what they're talking about.
Because with the book Deception they DID dropped the ball (by A: hiring a writer that makes Stephanie Meyer look like Agatha Christie, and B: not properly reviewing his finalized version of the book before printing it, and C: by endorsing said book, again, without reading it.) but they apologized for it, and promised a reviewed edition. If they were willing to do that for a book (Which wouldn't be sold as much as a game, seeing as reading is a dying art these days) I believe they can do the same for the game. Specially since Mass Effect is their flagship franchise.
After I saw that bit I quoted, I simply stoped taking the writer of the article seriously, and simply gave up mid-way.
The point isn't that the *!@#$ing and whining is the best thing ever, it's that calling it "gamer entitlement" and slapping a negative connotation on it is extremely harmful to the industry and completely against the fundamental ideas of capitalism.
In a capitalist system, if a consumer does not like a product (the following is my opinion, at least), they are then responsible to air their grievances with the product and, (a point many gamers fail on. Shame on you, by the way.) refuse to give the company at fault money until the grievances are rectified or at least not repeated.
believe me, I agree (even if I have a hard time expressing it :S damn this crappy english of mine) but there's a good way of expressing things, and a bad way.
And most of the complaints I've seen sound more like temper tantrums thrown by spoiled brats, than actual complaining. (As I said before, which is the only time I've actually used good wording to express my POV: "There is a THIN line that separates Constructive Criticism, from blatant whining, and sadly, most people don't know how to tell them apart")
For reference, check this post in the BSN. (Warning, DO NOT READ IT if you haven't finished ME3, massive spoilers......... though, without proper context you probably wouldn't understand anything anyways.)

Now THIS is how you express a complaint. (nevermind that some of the replies in the post ARE bad responses)

It's both sides in this case.

Meh, for the moment I'm content to simply wait what will their response be. Going from there THEN I can draw conclusions about them as a company and their desire to please their customers.
I'm simply drawing from the logic that if they issued a response about the book (though they did took their sweet time about it) they'll issue a response about this fiasco too. Either to say that they have no plans of altering the ending, or to confirm that they will change it in some way (Either DLC or expansion pack)
AFTER they give a response, (one that isn't "Wait it out, we still have plans for this game" since they already said that on tweeter several times) I'll offer more input about it. For now, I've said all I needed to say about this.

One of my facebook friends complained about Mass Effect 3 and he pirated it, so yeah.
I was planning on buying a Bioware game if I magically ran into some spare cash, but it appears their response to any criticism is essentially "go forth and copulate".
Oh and are we allowed 20 questions about the image? Did it involve animals, wounds, children, bodily fluids?
