However in stealth, the rogue gets to bandage, or take a HS or pot without fear of taking any damage unless i get lucky with the AOE.
Ands then he can start the fight all over again.
You can't do any of those things without breaking stealth, and only a slow mage wouldn't take advantage of a rogue standing there healing up.
The class I have the most problems with are paladins. Good frost mages are probably next. While I can usually get the opener on them, and get their health bar pretty far down, once the stuns have worn off, I find myself frozen quite a bit. If my trinket and CoS is on cooldown, a mage can pretty much kill me with ease.
Plus, with all the talents that improve the effects of chill talents, Shattered Barrier, being able to pull your water ele out for even more frosty action, etc, the frost mage's toolbox is full of things to use against a rogue to keep him/her from getting up close and personal. If we do, then you can freeze up and blink away, then frost nova us again.
And you complain about premeditation, but it's on a 10 minute timer. You have cold snap, which is on a 8 min base timer, with the possibility to reduce that with talents.
I'm not sure why you have such a hard time against rogues. I find mages to be challenging, yet with the possibility to win. The chances of that happening really depend on the mage's skill, as a skilled frost mage is pretty hard for me to walk away from alive.
Now, if you were a warlock, then I'd agree, you'd pretty much be rogue fodder, but it sounds like warlocks in general need buffing all around. (I can't feel too sorry for them, because I remember when I'd just run the other way 1 on 1 with my mage pre BC hehe)

Ret palas were too OP since 3.0.2 and now they are just OP, the one who says ret isnt OP now is prob playing a ret paly and doesnt want to see nerf bat incoming his way, period.
Says the warlock, obviously you haven't been watching arena statistics which clearly states ret paladins AREN'T OP. They're not highly represented.
So ret paladin is telling me ret paladins AREN'T OP.
as i said the one who says ret isnt OP now is prob playing a ret paly and doesnt want to see nerf bat incoming his way, period.

I have to LoL at the mage QQing about the rogues. Get some resil and HP? Maybe get a partner that will help you survive longer? I'm starting to think all you do is BG grind and never do arena.
For rogues, since pretty much EVERY class can't take an opener routine anymore-
Use your cooldowns, and use them WISELY. Especially when you are squishy. And for the love of every sense of brain power everyone has ever put into WoW and reading forums, LEARN THEIR COOLDOWNS AS WELL! Learn what they look like, learn to keep track of what the hell they used. Learn to tell the difference between specs as well. If he's a mut rogue, you should never lose unless you seriously let him hump your arse. If he's Sub, then you actually have a fight. YOU ARE A KITING CLASS! L2KITE!
As for locks, I agree, the new squishiness of the warlocks has made me happy. No more drain tanking for 2 minutes. You, being a squishy, actually have to L2Kite as well. Yes, KITE. You, like most casters, wear cloth. CLOTH! Not mail, not plate, cloth. You no longer take hits like a prot warrior. GTFOver it. Learn your class. Hmmmm, if I can run in one direction, and cast in another direction, and just keep doing it, eventually something will die right? If I keep running, I shouldn't be the one doing the dieing amirite? You have 4 or 5 cc tools at least. Learn to use them. Luckily, locks are no longer tanks, and they like to QQ about it instead of learn new tactics and ways of killing stuff.
---
Luckily for me, I play durable classes(druid/paladin). I like getting in your face and /bonk you to death because it's really funny. If you can't learn to kite, learn to play another class that requires that you be the chaser, and see if you can do good with that. Otherwise, if you don't want to spend the time, GO PVE and nuke everything to your hearts content.
QQ about PVP is like eating a cookie. I love it, but everyone looks at me like I just killed someone. Oh wait, I did, and ate the cookie on your corpse. =)
If you want to cry about the rogue, remember, if you learn to outlast his CD's, you can kill him in what, 2 hits? This would be called "the coward that p33'd himself when the guy he hit raised his 2 ton bonegrinder." Same with clothies(but leave priests out of this). Sure, you can nuke really well, but if you let a melee within 10 yards, you are seriously asking for it.
Paladins are OP for one reason, and one reason alone. They remove debuffs. Almost every debuff in the game(and every debuff on themselves once per round). That's it.
