I normally instruct people to take the build section of Osiris' guide with a grain of salt, as he makes a few poor decisions when choosing talents, and his rankings of each build in PVE are a little off. There's also a few other snippets in there which aren't exactly sound, such as how he compares eviscerate to rupture (despite what he implies, rupture will under most circumstances still be superior to eviscerate whether you have a feral druid or not).
If you know what to take on board and what to ignore, his guide is extremely good, and it scores points for encompassing a spectrum of topics much broader than most others do.

Absolutely. He has a lot of opinions in there (he does disclaimer it at the beginning), but it's just another resource to look at. I love anything that I can read that someone has thought out in depth because it helps me see how other rogues are thinking, how they are building dps, how they are using certain tactics. He gives a lot of thoughts on talents, which is nice if you're a starter.
It's funny about which pve build do the most damage. Really, when you are arguing about a 3% swing, that factor could really be made up by lots of small variables. I don't think it is possible to determine such a thing, regardless of EJ, Osiris, Remx, or any other persons guides.

Hehe, actually, if you go one page back in this thread I already posted them :P But it's a great guide and good information, and it certainly doesn't hurt to have the link 2x.

I'm still working on it I assure you. I've been very busy lately, and as you might understand this compendium is rather low on my list of life priorities ;) (especially considering most people don't even read it :P)

Rofl, isn't that the truth.
"REMX, advice on my bld PLZZZZZZZ!!!!"
"Did you check the builds in the compendium? That build is already in there"
Also, I recommend a section on terrible builds that you can point ignoramouses to :D When you have time of course :D

Love the guide, realy helped me shore up a few details in my spec.
Will you be going in to any detail about combat cycles at all? Right now I am going with a simple 4snd/5rupture with my fist/sword spec. (gladiator both). I guess my question is should I stick with this or am I limiting myself from a DPS perspective.
