How you decide to spec is based on what you enjoy and what you plan on doing with your druid. If you enjoy a caster role, dealing strong burst damage with some sick Starfire crits, then a deep balance spec is your best bet. If you'd rather be sneaking up behind your targets and critting their brains out, or tanking everything and their grandmothers you'll find feral to be your friend. And if you're a glutton for punishment and just want to heal, there's always that restoration tree... (just kidding!)
Seriously, though, druid builds are extremely flexible and allow for a lot of personal touches throughout the trees. Once you've decided which sort of playstyle interests you, chances are you'll have more than enough points to get everything cool that you can think of in that tree. :) We seem to have a ton of druids active on the forums, so I'm sure there'll be loads of talent build suggestions in no time. Here's mine though, for good measure:

This is my absolute favorite PVP healing spec. It gives more than enough healing talents that need in resto without having to spend points on the PVE raid-oriented talents. In Feral Combat it's spec'd up to
Feral Charge
, which grants you a great interrupt or escape method from a tough situation! You get the excellent armor contribution from Thick Hide, which when coupled with the boosted armor on the PVP gear is very nice. In Balance you'll have an 100% chance for instant proc Entangling Roots with Nature's Grace active, and your Cyclone and Entangling Roots are 100% uninterruptable, which makes crowd-controlling a target that's beating on you easier than ever. As a healer, even these few points in the other trees can prove to be extremely valuable in any PVP situation.

My build. I heal in PVE and I don't like getting hit very long in PVP. :)

In my opinion dropping 2 points in natures focus and putting them in subtlety is well worth it. And i don't know what your pvp gear looks like but past a point (400 or so resil) natural perfection becomes worthless. I usually drop those points and go with something like this:

The bonus reach on cyclone/entangling roots is HUGE in arenas and if you load up FF+entangling roots on a warrior, the dispellers have a super hard time removing it due to subtlety.
That's my 2 cents on pvp resto specs.

Agreed. At the moment I have it to compensate for horrible PVP gear, hehe.

I'd ditch sharpened claws from PyroMage25's build, you're not going to be dps'ing much in feral with that many balance points. One point in Nature's Grasp would be worth it, since you can cast it in forms. You might also want to think about getting Furor, maybe by sacrificing Balance of Power and Feral Swiftness... that balance-heavy build will be using bear mostly for spell interrupts and closing range, and the odd bit of extra survival through Demo Roar, but without Furor it will take time to build the rage needed after a shift.
But yeah, you may have spotted that it's the utility talents which stay valuable. If you go mostly balance, it's thick hide, swiftness, feral charge and brutal impact that are worth picking up from feral, and if mostly feral, it's NG, control of nature, nature's reach and maybe celestial focus. Duplicating dps talents just isn't that worthwhile because the gear synergy makes it awful ;)

Nice ;)
For a pvp-healer build, that's pretty good... maybe there's a tradeoff between uninterruptable heals and undispellable ones which you might try sometime, depending on whether you rely mostly on Regrowth or Lifebloom/Rejuv. It should be fun to see what happens after patch 2.3 when you get the 1/3rd of your +healing as +damage on top... with the 2 instant dots that could a really nice extra.

The nice thing about druids is how we dont have to use many casts and cant get silenced as easy. Thats why i think subtlety beats uninteruptable heals.

Oh, you don't even know how exciting that is! :o)
Indeed. The downside is, the enemy got healers too. Expect DoTs on yourself the entire time.
