for your Ass/sub build why would you get in ghostly strikes and dirty tricks? I guess i could see getting dirty tricks for the reduced cost of sap but ghostly strikes damage isnt going to be that good using a dagger.
A better question would be, why on earth wouldn't you get dirty tricks?

I just happen to like both talents. The dodge bonus on ghostly strike has its uses. Obviously, against a warrior its a self defeating concept; however, against other rogues, enh shamans, hunter pets, ret paladins (ie people who don't overpower) that little bit of extra dodge on command seems appealing to me.
Please tell me you're not of the line of thought that you don't use evasion against warriors.

essentially your just making 15% of his attacks have a 50% crit modifier
Let's not overstate it. You're making one of his attacks which is on a 5 second cooldown have a 50% crit modifier.
While I do often save ghostly strike for use with one of my two evasions, I'm of the opinion that you're going to be triggering overpower anyway due to your base dodge chance, you may as well avoid an extra few white hits or mortal strikes by using ghostly strike.
