In my opinion DKs will be nerfed. Possibly to the point where we're not viable tanks, and it hurts me.
However than DK's will be buffed, so that we're not on top, but not on bottom. In the mean time I'm leveling a druid. Will he be a tank? I don't know, I do like tanking.
I do plan on keeping DK as my main as long as I can get into raids on him.

You need to see it from the bigger picture, guys.
At one point all you really needed were DKs tanking, and the other tanks could tank "if needed". This is not something Blizzard wanted.
At the moment, we have DKs at 130% tanking capacity, paladins at 95%, warriors at 80% and Druids at 60% (I made up these numbers from experience and talking to a lot of tanks). Two of my guilds feral druids in TBC actually rerolled DKs in WotLK to be "able" to tank. This is not what Blizzard wants, because Blizzard never intend to have one "best class", so if DK tanking is being slapped in the balls in 3.2, take it like a man. Your time will come again.
I do not in a million years believe that DKs will be
unable
to tank like they always did, just not "oh &*!@, the OT died on Iron Council 10man. Oh well, pull all bosses and tank all three!" (actually happened).

how to buit tank for 3.2 please..ASAP
this thread is more of a discussion, not just a "gimmie a spec!" thread.
/comfort
Anywho, I've just switched my main from my hunter to a dk. ( i was initially leveling a pally to tank with, but wanted to try the dk instead. )
After tanking for as long as I have, maybe 2-3 months, I've found I enjoy it... but going from ranged to melee/tank has confused me a bit, and it seems just as I was getting a hold of things Blizz changed them...
Er, sorry, point being, I'm not too solid on advice/discussion yet, but I feel that with these nerfs tanking as a DK might be a bit rougher. The biggest ones, I feel, are the frost pres nerf and the toughness nerf.
From my understanding, it seems like many of the core tanking stats as a DK are starting to dwindle.
I'm hoping the testing done will eventually iron out any kinks that arise, but I don't honestly think it will be impossible for a dk to main tank as they do. We might just need to tweak a few things here and there.
I might need to look into other tanking classes to see how me compare, so I'll get back to this later. ^^:;

Please note that: Unbreakable Armor does not increase armor, it increases strength... Which in turn increases Avoidance >.>
Dont forget that UA also reduces damage by 5*armor*.1 or whatever... so it acts as sort of a temporary warrior's shield that is blocking constantly for that duration... or I guess you could look at it and say it's "effective hp" and the like...
